Fallout occurs in an alternate reality where transistors where never invented but tech did evolve in the time after WWII.
The social aesthetic maybe stuck in the 50s/60s but the tech is not; Tech and design evolved and changed between the post WWII and the final war. To me Fallout weapons really can't be dated nor tied to our reality. They should only fit the game's aesthetic and or lore. For me that means keeping with the spirit of the design but not the letter of the design. This texture does that. The gun looks worn but maintained. Well done!
most AKM have metal clips? you re aware they re attachable? so you can jam in the AKM any mag you want, polymer or metal. so your statement doesnt make any sense and i dont know which mags re most common, i gues metal. yeah, but how does that matter? i wanted polymer mags and made metal optional.
love the guy who said the akm uses "metal clips". proves that they don't know anything about firearms seeing as there are clear differences between a clip and a mag. also to the remark angryglock made about not being tied to our reality, guns that showed up in the 80s and 90s have been in fallout so weapon wise ballistic firearms seem to have followed the same path as our world up to the mid 90s at the very least if not even further. did it take them longer to get to that point?with how focused they were on energy weapons, probably. but seeing as they have guns from the early 90s anything from before that point that was made in real life can be consider plausible to at least have a potential prototype that was tried and probably ignored in favor of energy based weapons. so his remark about not being dated or tied to our reality is not quite right, not quite wrong.
The AK this mod mods doesn't have all the cool mods, so could you this for the AK-2047? It looks terrible, no offense to the great makers who make this wonderful mods. Cheers.

Izhmash produced their polymer mags already in the 60s for the AKM
