    WOW
    absolutely gorgeous and incredibly cinematic

i turned off the film grain (it was way too strong for me personally)
but other than that the colors are beautiful. very little fps hit too.

      How did you disable that?

This is a beautiful preset, very warm and fitting to the world in my opinion. You've done a great job, endorsed!

My fav preset so far. Thank you for the great work! And it matches the lore perfectly IMHO.

I had to change the gamma value to 1.0 and the brightness value to 3.0 to make things a bit more visible in the dark. Just in case anyone else wants to do the same.

I imagine bright areas and conditions would be overly bright then due to the bloom and adaptation, yeah? Any ideas on how to tone down the bright end?

nope, the preset was a bit on a dark side by default. So increasing brightness did not make it overly bright. I`d say illumination is now on vanilla level.

Do you use True Storms or turn off eye adaptation? Fog and ENB eye adaptation during the daytime can get very overblown. Bloom probably contributes. Original adaptation seems less extreme, so darks won't be as dark, and brights won't be as bright. I also tweak the settings or turn it off entirely. Fighting in a dark room with bright shafts of light will render you momentarily blind whenever you move from light to dark. I find it too distracting and disruptive to gameplay.

I uploaded a few screens that have some examples of bright foggy conditions: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/17649989/?

true, dense fog and a clear weather makes it too bright to look at with my settings so I had to lower the brightness to 2.0
Turning off adaptation also helped in cases like the one you described.

Preset is really nice, but too dark at night for my taste, could you point out what archive should i look to change those parameters?

You could try LiftGammaGain, Tonemap(exposure), or Levels. Those are all in SweetFX.cfg. I also reduce the Bloom in GemFX.cfg.

everything looks gorgeous but i think i play with DOF and my character looks blur when i zoom him, do you know how to fix it?

You can either disable DOF or try something like this: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5581/?

It'll modify your ini camera settings, which you can then tweak further if you should so desire.

Looks good, though it'd have been nice to credit noidkit directly since you are using a lot of his work, and by extension mine.

Also worth pointing that the following SweetFX filters are being applied twice, once by my wrapper and then again by the ReShade preset you added: Lumasharpen, S-curves and Film grain.

You will get a 1-3fps boost if you turn off those in the underlying "Subtle ENB" preset and adjust your own tweaks to compensate.

Curious, how do we modify your SweetFX settings beyond ON/OFF?

If we want to get those 1-3 frames back, do we simply disable Lumasharpen, S-curves and Film grain in either your wrapper OR the Reshade cfg files?

Also, I do remember TaLos had credited both Grim Wolf and Subtle enbs(and maybe Railroad Cine??) in his descrip. But now it seems to only be Subtle...?

The SFX settings that are being applied through the wrapper can be configured through the ENB ingame menu (default key to open is Shift+Enter). They are under postprocess in the shader parameters window.

If you want to keep the same look you can't just disable one or the other because they will become less prominent. I suggest disabling the ones applied through the wrapper because this preset is using ReShade anyway so might as well keep everything there. But the strength of each one of those filters will then need to be increased in ReShade to match the current look and feel.

Another thing, is you shouldnt use levels to raise the black level above 16 as all this does is crushes the black level resembling a problem thats already present on LCD monitors.

If you want to see what crushed blacks are like, its the thumbnail image in my gentlemens era preset.

I havent used your preset yet so you might be compensating for another setting but a good test to check if they are crushed is the grid in the load screen when using reshade not ENB.

Ive also considered you might wanna crush the blacks for artistic purposes but this would cause problems for people using darker nights as objects will start blending in even more when they shouldnt. If you wanna increase the contrast raise the amount in curves.

Otherwise really good preset, good use of filmic curve.

Man, this is one of the best looking presets out right now. Can't believe it only has 9 endorsements...

There are no resource folders in the reshade folder anymore, just cfg files? Is that correct? I can't say I know how these things work, but I assumed the config files were referencing stuff in those resource folders...

ReShade sets its own library. Preset changes only configuration, and adds files of ENB. First of all you need to add the FALLOUT4.exe to Mediator.

Gotcha. My bad. I don't use Mediator, I forgot that I add all the Reshade libraries into my enb/reshade preset archives.

Are any of these mods needed for this preset? With the exception of MasterEffects, I'm using them now with your enb and everything looks fine, but I was just wondering if they're even necessary.
