it will never not be funny how Pipe Weapons one of Fallout 4 most hated guns by designs can become one of the best looking guns in fallout just by giving it a better texture
This is what pipe weapons should have looked like in the vanilla game. The color of the wood and metal reminds me of a scrappier version of the submachine gun. Great mod 10/10
i don't mean to be that guy, but i think it's silly to change the pipes from copper to lead. copper is more durable in heat, hence why it would be smarter to use it for projectiles.
When was lead mentioned? More importantly though, what's optimal shouldn't be the issue here...if optimization was the goal you wouldn't see these 'pipe' weapons in the first place.
Dude, the color of the vanilla pipe weapons is supposed to be from rust, not from being made of copper. Even Raiders aren't dumb enough to make a gun barrel from copper. Too many of them would be nicknamed "stubs" or "lefty."
And to assume that the new color is lead colored, instead of iron, is is strange for basically the same reason...
Please do not ever try to use copper or lead as a barrel irl...
Actually, Grimm. Five of the pipe gun vanilla barrels are crafted with with copper instead of steel (out of 9) as are 3 of 6 of the available stocks. So yes, even the Sole Survivor might be dumb enough. You need to learn to... pipe down.
Looks great both on the mod page and in-game. My only gripe is that I wish they had a separate texture for the lens of the scopes...the way it's just as silver as the metal doesn't quite look right.
