Honestly anything using a .50 should have a chance of exploding the enemy to pieces as an innate ability. Do people even realize how much damage a .50 does if you hit someone with it? There's NOTHING LEFT. Those bullets are incredibly damaging lol.
Even though this is still a fantasy RPG game with typical RPG mechanics...
Even to admit honestly Bethesda did a really bad job on balancing their weapons in general (like the Minigun which is the most powerfull machine gun on earth, but performing like a bad joke in FO4), getting shot by a missile launcher which do nevertheless even crack main battle tanks, should be even more devestating. But there are tons of enemies surviving even mininukes depending on which difficulty and low perks you're playing.
How do I obtain the ammo recipes? Both the regular and no-perks file only allow me to create primers at the bench, and the description of this mod is pretty lacking. Is there a readme outlining full functionality and requirements somewhere?
*Never-mind* - In case anyone else stumbles on this, and like me, has armorsmith extended installed. There is more than 1 ammunition workbench, and none are noticeably different from one another except in appearance. I just needed to build all of them and see which one ammo could be crafted at.
When I try to craft Gunpowder.. it is no where to be found in my inventory even in my worbench inventories.. wtf??? even though It says I recieved 250 gunpowders or something.. please fix!!
Gunpowder is categorized under the Misc Category, not Junk. But I have the same bug where even if I have like 16 000 gunpowder, I cannot craft anything requiring it : it says I have 0 of it.
Hey, I have a request but I'm not sure if you're still around for updates. I can't find the last time you posted here. If you are still around, please by all means leave a comment and hear me out, maybe you would like the idea. Thanks!
If you have a request for a mod like this, I can help you out with that. I've made a mod that makes ammo crafting more realistic and I'm always open to taking suggestion from users.
You had me until the damage bonuses. That is completely different functionality and should have been in a different mod entirely for those of us who like the idea of immersively crafting ammo but don't want to break the balance of the game's weapons.
Maybe, but the argument is that they should not be there to begin with, be disabled on install, or available as an optional patch. When you just toss in something random that does not support the main function of the mod there is a higher chance of conflict or otherwise undesirable results.
Well I agree it is kind of an odd pairing, the mod creator did give us an option to turn it off. In the time it took to make your post you could of turned it on and off 5 times. As long as you don't manual install you should get options, regardless of what mod manager you use.
Is there any way to break down ballistic ammo like New Vegas? I don't just like picking up ammo to sell. I would feel more like a survivalist using what I pick up rather than selling ammo for lead. Otherwise it a great mod.
