It would be great to have a patch that makes these function like the west tek goggles and switcher.

I keep a set of perma NV goggles on my + key, and a set of normal wrap-arounds on the - key. It's like having a NV toggle  :)

Double Post: Night Vision Goggles and West Tek Night Vision:

    Request for both:

BOth of your mods are amazing, and honestly is depends on my companion.

I was wondering if for NIGHT VISION MOD:

1-You may be able to do the same as West Tek Night Vision mod. Be able to change the color of the goggles tint (NOT the night vision color itself) from the workbenches?

2-Like the West Tek mod, add another workbench mod to the goggles, besides tint so you can choose to upgrade the goggles with better bonuses. perception, increased vats etc.

3-Increased the intensity of night vision. I would suggest following West Tek idea
A-Goggles with tints and upgrades, but no night vision (COmestic version)
B-Goggoles with tints and upgrades with night vision when equipped.

I crafted two west tek goggles one that is over my forhead, one that is on my face when night falls. (Also, default should be on when equipped)

Only reason I personally DO NOT use your goggles (my companions do) is because they don't have upgrades for bonuses.

I love your wrap around goggles on preston and piper but I'd like them to be a different color and not have to deal with a downloadable stuff. Right now they are set to green, but I would like to be able to simply craft the goggles and change their tint.

Again, Not requesting the actual night vision tint to change, it should remain as it is as it makes it easier for you.

Since i know people are lazy(im for sure ) ive edited the brightness from the original 1.3 to 3.0, so should be a decent amount brighter. Im using an ENB wich makes the night really dark so the original 1.3 value was still too dark for me, with the 3.0 value i can see clearly without making the screen too bright. I hope the author doesnt mind, heres the link (its the basic green glow permanent version).

Have you considered making an NVG upgrade for power armor? Like making it replace the light on the helmet. I was thinking about trying it out but my free time is rather limited.

cool mod though a pain to keep equipping and unequiping all the time. Might I suggest you make a alternate barber shop. I would like to see the printing press give happiness and if Piper is assigned to it give double.

Please help me guys, it doesn't work for me. I tried to craft them at the chemistry station, I then tried to get them with console, but nothing happened. I use the following codeplayer.additem 52000800 1 (52 is the load order of the mod in nmm). Please help me . And I have exactly the same problem with the mod crossbow of the commonwealth

Hey im trying to figure out how to make the Night Vision effect brighter. Any chance you could point me in the right direction? I assume its in one of the 3 image space adapater forms but ive tried a few and not having any luck.

      hi,
there are 3 image space adapter.

NVGNightPersonperklmodOff <- this effect is played when shutting down the goggles. (fade out)
NVGNightPersonperklmodOn <- this effect is played when activating the goggles. (fade in)
NVGNightPersonperklmod<- this effect is activated while wearing the goggles.

you need to edit the NVGNightPersonperklmod image space adapter.

      scroll down to "Cinematic" --> "RIAD - Brightness Add" --> " Data#0" --> "Value"

Increase "Value" to add an flat amount of "brightness" to the effect.

How to I edit these values to make to it brighter. Do I need edit to do it? I have a darker nights esp from a photo-realism mod, and even with these it is still way too dark. I can't seem to find what I need to alter the values. Any help would be great! Thanks.

Nevermind, I figured it. Sometimes the brain isn't too quick anymore, lol. Forgot about needing to do stuff like this for Skyrim. For anyone else like me who brain-farted, or just doesn't know, to alter these values you will need to use FO4Edit.exe. Found here on the Nexus. Now I'm going to go into a corner and feel stupid for a bit.
