This is great work! There is a BodySlide-compatible corset as well, but honestly I think this one looks better! The body shape is close enough to my custom companion's body (or at least plausible when one considers the "squeezing" effect of a corset) that I prefer to use this one, even with the custom option available :)
The curvy version has a slight clipping issue around the armpit/shoulder blade area you might want to fix.
It's visible while running or holding a gun, but it stands out more with the texture from armorsmith's black corset. I fixed it for myself by inflating the clothing in the armpit/shoulder blade area slightly. I kind of did it blind because I couldn't replicate the gun drawn(aiming) position in bodyslide.
Bodyslide really needs to add poses, because some clipping issues only show up in certain poses.
I didn't really test this version of the corset on different body types, so yeah, that's possible. But I failed to see these clipping issues you mentioned. I only see the clipping issue on the crotch area.
It's easier to see if you walk/run with your gun out in a ready position(I had a rifle equipped), but it might be harder to see on the default texture. If you can't see it the reason might be something simple like different thin/fat/muscular settings
Finally, the true corset!! I use a custom body between slim and curvy , because .. too few is too few! overmuch is overmuch !^^ just little clip when i crouch ,for the upper part removed with bodyslide , thx. for pants is a bit disastrous ..
Did you do it all with only bodyslider? How did you add the cleavage? Trying to make some changes on another outfits myself.. tried using the move, or deflate but it ended up looking very bad... not smooth at all. Any tips?
For the bodyslider: I just pressed "w" to see the wireframes and then moved them down. It's important to see the wireframes otherwise you just mess up the geometry of the clothes, therefore the textures'. Also I tried to keep myself focused on the end parts where the vertices are not merged for some reason. Keep your hand on ctrl+z and the other hand using mouse wheel to use the area of effect for the tools properly.
For the cleavage: Use the CBBE's sliders. And when you finished, save it with reference.
Fixing the crotch is easier if you adjust the body shape instead of the pants themselves. No matter how much I tweaked the pants the crotch kept clipping worse. So the only solution was to deflate the crotch area of the body mesh(not the clothing). You can't see through the pants so it's not a problem.
From the screenshots it looks like you have the glitch with the hand textures. I manged to sort of fix it in my game, but I don't know how to convert hands in bodyslide.
The quick and dirty fix for me was to use the two glove meshes from: Latex Suits - Plain - Nurse - Corset - Zero Suit Samus - for CBBE http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5878/?
Just drop OutfitGlovesF.nif and OutfitGlovesF1st.nif into the meshes/clothes/Cait folder. The tradeoff is that the gloves will have a shiny black latex texture from the other mod, but it's only meant to be a quick fix. You can change the texture through properties>texture in bodyslide.
If you know how to fix hands for CBBE, you can extract those 2 files from the game.
The only change the gloves really need is to delete the basefemale hands object and import the hands.obj or hands.fbx from the CBBE modder's resource. Then apply the hand textures from CBBE to the hands. You can extract the proper meshes from the game if you don't want to borrow from another mod.
I got this corset, the one from armorsmith(converted to this mesh), and the standalone punk gauntlet from armorsmith working perfectly.
You can just download a black textured one and replace the mesh (Data\Meshes\clothes\cait\OutfitF.nif) file with real corset version of the file. If the black corset you're using is standalone you can find its meshes from the Meshes folder in your Data folder and do the same.
If you swap the mesh make sure to switch the texture to the one used by armorsmith. In bodyslide you select the clothing, then select properties>textures.
From there change display texture to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\data\Textures\Armorsmith Extended\agentbrea\Black Corset\Cait_d.dds
for the other fields: Textures\Armorsmith Extended\agentbrea\Black Corset\Cait_d.dds Textures\Armorsmith Extended\agentbrea\Black Corset\Cait_n.dds Textures\Armorsmith Extended\agentbrea\Black Corset\Cait_s.dds
Then just export the .nif with references to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\data\Meshes\Armorsmith Extended\agentbrea\Black Corset\OutfitF.dds and you're done.
why does it keep flattening my characters chest to non existence from what I have it set at? also when I batch my outfits to fit my body yours doesn't show up as one of the options even selecting cait to view in body slide shows the default cbbe version instead of yours after install via nmm
That's because BodySlider uses its projects. The corset I made is not compatible with it, because when I save it as project it just turns o vanilla version.
Seems to be working well for me, though I too has the slight clipping under the arm with a CBBE Skinny body (easy enough fix in bodyslide since you did the heavy lifting). I was wondering though, in your screen shots the corset seems to be a button lower than the one I'm seeing in game. Any clue as to why the difference?
