so i must have used a different version before. got a new computer had to start over with redownloading mods. 20 shack floors? any possible way to make the radius much bigger? i have a thing with cleaning up the whole map and id like to have some reach. thank you if you can. thanks anyway if cant.
this mod is broken cannot open the bench after placing it read in the comments about typos so i check in the FO4Edit and I'm not sure where to find the typo because i see many an I'm not sure what one to edit to fix it or which needs edited
No, it's possible. Use "Place in Red" mod. Move new workbench wherever you want, close old workshop mode and you must open workshop mode in your new workbench.
how do u put supples in the new bench i only see activate option and nothing happens when i use the v key it comes up but i cant use anything form my inv or form the first one . it says i have no items .
this will not work on portable workbench . the one where u throw a grenade to set up . u just walkout the range for example the first place u talk to that mr gussy . . u walk close to the red borderthen u make one for those and it would extend the area . the same whit the other mod and i get to put items in the first one so u can get some stuff build it don't take it out of your inv .
I tried carrying a workbench from Sanctuary to the elevated roadway near the crashed plane, the gunner's location. Do I need to hold the "E" key the entire time I am heading there? How to I get to the location without the darn thing sticking to the road or someplace else? I really want to make that spot a base for myself and I just can't seem to get the workshop there. Very depressing......
You can also type "help wokr 4" without quotation marks and it will give you the Workbench reference ID. Then just type "player.placeatme xxx" and it will place the Workbench right where you are. P.S. Yes, I know "work" is spelt wrong. In-game, it is a typo. In order to find it you need to type "help wokr 4." Also, from another comment, in order to build using the Workbench you need to be in God Mode ("tgm" in console).
It MIGHT work if you hadn't named the workbench WOKRSHOP workbench (or workbench is spelt wrong, I can't remember now) either way, one of them is spelt wrong, which is probably why you end up crafting a pretty paper weight workbench.
