Thanks, I was looking for something like thatIf it works for someone I change the size of the icons that were not seen with FO4Edit. In the Activators part - PTRN- Preview Transform- right click - Add - then double click, go down and select -worshop_ShackPrefabComplete01 (for me it is the best size). This for the 4 elements. I hope it helps someone
Hello Very cool modification Can bridges connect to the electrics so that it acts on the switch as an activator or sensor? (Such remote control from a distance)
I'm sure you get a ton of requests, but here is one more....
FO4 is digital Legos for me, and I love to build using the Institute objects. I have ZERO clue as to how items are reskinned or I would try myself, but I would love to see a whole series of Institute skinned building objects. Ramps, interior/exterior walls, windows with the Institute wood paneling on one side and Institut concrete on the other. Various interior doorways and doors skinned in Institute skin combinations, and that is just a start....
If you could do this, or show me what tools and how to do this myself or point me to a comprehensive tutorial that shows how to reskin building objects I would be most appreciative.
Probably bad phrasing on my side... what I meant is, that updating from 1.2 to 1.2a is not necessary, when using SK and Homemakers latest SK version. At least for me it's working fine.
DDProductions just ignored and deleted my comment when I had asked for a version without the teddy bear on the stool, could you possibly make a version of the original without teddy bear and stool, and if you cant upload it just PM it to me or email it to me or somehthing I would be sooooo thankful
Rather easy to do, use nifscope, open both files in "Fallout 4\Data\Meshes\DDprod1\Bridge_mark_1\" select the elements you want to remove right-click "block" -> remove
It's very easy to do once you get into the tool. It may not make sense here in the comments but once you get into the tool and follow what nexus0Abby wrote it'll become much clearer. If you can't, I'm afraid you'll have to deal with DD's stupid teddy bears, or with hopes, Siles fulfills your request.
LOVE THESE!!!!! I'm all about building nothing but with the Institute items and these bridges and your elevators are just icing on the cake, so to speak.
I do have one complaint. The "menu icons" for the elevators and the bridges are TOO BIG!I've been manually editing your mod to fix this.
With FO4Edit, adding a the "Transform" line to the bridges and referencing the SettlementKeywords.esm Transform line SK_Transform_Size_1600 That reduces the icon size for the elevators and bridges to a (I feel) perfect size for the build menu.
If you wanted to manually add this, and not reference SettlementKeywords, add a Transform FormID with these numbers: -4.0000 1600.0000 <------Change this number for the desired size. Bigger number=smaller icon, smaller number=bigger icon. 1600 worked for me. -82.0000 6.108652 0.0000 0.523599 1.0000
Again, I love this and look forward to more versions. Sandcrab
i noticed a odd behavior with the mod, same with the wood version and both elevators btw. (so it's not your issue but maybe you can do something about it, idk how any of this stuff works)
sooo, i use the Bridges (the big one) as a Sunroof for my shiny Institute Style Iron Man Armory. So i'm looking at it a lot from below, when you place the bridges the first time you place it the bottom is clean, flat and fits in well with the rest of the institute roofs (or technically "floors" viewed from below, there is no roof category).
When i reload the game or the Zone the bottom visual changes and these "bars" appear, like what the Wood ceilings all look like.
For the Wood Version i guess it's not a problem, but for the Institute stuff it looks a little out of place, i just would like it to look like the first time you place it... flat, clean.
I'm uploading a video, will add the link in this post when it's done processing so you can see.

It worked with and without both of them.
The bridges now under Metal -> Misc.
right-click
"block" -> remove
do it for teddy, hat, mag x2, stool
save
you're done.
enjoy!
