    This mod doesn't work with Enclave power armors X-02 and X-03 sadly... :(

    specific power armors mentioned
    X-02 power armor - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11017/
    X-03 power armor - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26251/

      I would very much like to see a patch for this mod that adds support for those two sets of power armor.

      After playing with 3x light distance on my T-51 and T-60 sets, it feels awful going back to the default of about 4 inches in front of my face.

      Okay so I figured it out. I thought it was complicated but it's pretty simple actually.

      So first, you need to download F04Edit.

      After letting that john load, navigate to the LongerHeadlampLight.esp > Light > PAT45HeadlampLightBright. You'll see a window on the right pop-up with details on what the mod does. You'll see two columns on the right and what we basically want to copy is the one on the LongerHeadlampLight.esp.

      Take a picture of that side of the column. Those are the values we want to input into the Enclave X-02 PA.

      Finally, navigate to EnclaveX02.esp > Light > PAX02HeadlampLightBright. Click that then change the values to the one you've just taken a picture of.
      It's literally just 3 values that you need to change. Don't be intimidated bros. You can do it!

    Works great, i chose the 2x version.
    Found this mod because I wanted to increase the headlamp distance on combat helmet together with the Combat Helmet Illumination mod.
    It did exactly what I wanted. Thank you!

    Hoping the KillaKrux read this..
        Any chance on making the light white because this mod changes the light color from white to yellowish...

    The 3x headlamp is great for Fallout 4 VR. Your FOV is more realistic compared to a widescreen monitor, and the 3x headlamp actually looks very realistic, comparable to the maglite I used to carry in the service. I'd actually argue in favor of a 4x mod, to act as a sort of "high beam" for power armor. Might be cheaty in flatscreen, but in VR, most lights have the radius of a friggen zippo lighter.

    I think this is not fully compatible with X-01 armor. The headlights color not changed and headlight eye glowing is invisible in the third person.

    Awesome mod!! 😍
    A little question: can the plugin be marked as Light in Vortex without affecting its functionality?
    Thanks! 🥹

    I'm definitely gonna try 3x, cause Fusion technology is OP. This is the age where everyone drives a car with a nuclear fusion battery in it and the best batteries these peeps have shoot a light 10 feet ahead? Uh-huh. lol. I have a flashlight that lights up a street in real life, 200,000 Lumens, and it wasn't even the brightest they had. The thing never seems to die, hasn't for a year, and omg...yeah the brightness is OP. lol.

      Actually I ended up having to switch it to 6x with Shadows by editing the esp myself. No framedrops unless there's more than 16 NPCs win power armor all lit up so far. It's pretty amazeballs.

      I also found out this replaces flashlight effects on all my modded guns, just about all of them anyways. However, this amazing mod gave me the perfect .esp for editing in Xedit to give the headlamps replacing my modded guns the new Spartan Gobo and turn them all into Shadow Spotlights and bring down the FOV and raise the radius. Very very nice.

      THANK YOU! So much for making this, cause it's way easier editing this than it is the original game files. I appreciate it, my friend!

      Welp nvm, the vanilla flashlight gobo...is somehow persisting even though I've replaced them all.

    If you use ELFX this isn't needed since ELFX already changes that.

    these settings make the shadow transitions smooth and so on perhaps increase Shadow Resolution if you got the Gflops

    fBlendSplitDirShadow=384.0000
    fDirShadowDistance=7333.0000
    iDirShadowSplits=3
    iDirShadowSplits=3
    iShadowMapResolution=1024
    fMaxFocusShadowMapDistance=900.0000
    uiOrthoShadowFilter=2
    uiShadowFilter=3
    fShadowBiasScale=1.0000
