This is a great concept, and the vanilla knock-back is too far. The bigger enemies still clip into you a bit in third person if you continue sprinting with this mod, though. I would personally crank the distance back up to a 7, maybe even a 7.5 if the game will take value changes that small. It would be awesome if you released an in-between version for people like me who absolutely hate clipping of any kind.

I just tried out a few values, and this appears to be something I can't really fix. Even with the default value of 9, a straight collision with a super mutant has a good chance to clip with you if you keep sprinting. When the G.E.C.K comes out I might try to make collisions with heavy targets have less knockback (so that they just fall down) and collisions with humans have the 6x knockback.

This is just a thought and might not work at all, but there is another mod out there that makes dead bodies solid (so that you can't walk right through them). I wonder what would happen if you used that mod alongside this one? I'm betting that the ragdoll effect that dead bodies have is the same one used for the Pain Train knockback and if so, when you catch up with an enemy you have hit when sprinting, they should just roll off of you instead of you walking through them. That or Pain Train might trigger again, which would be funny but far too easy to abuse. Or maybe Pain Train has it's own separate ragdoll effect, in which case you could talk to the author of the aforementioned mod and ask how he applied solid properties to dead bodies and figure out how to add solidity to bodies effected by Pain Train. Just some musings to think on. I would test this all myself, but I re-started my game for a second playthrough, deleted my old saves, and don't have Pain Train yet.

Done! Check out my new mod here: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6740/?

The dead body collision mod only allowed collision with "dead" bipeds, so the pain train's knockback was not affected by it. But, after taking a look at how the Dead Body Collision mod worked, I made my own mod (that doesn't conflict with Dead Body Collision) to allow collision with ragdolls that are still alive. I'm updating the youtube video to demonstrate the new effects on Pain Train. I think it's a pretty satisfying change myself. You can actually see the Power Armor push the target when you charge into them.

Great! I'm glad it worked! I suspected it would, but to see you put it into practice so quickly is a testament to your skills. Glad I could help provide a little inspiration for ya!

Not bad, I just wish it didn't sound like the user is hitting a metal pole during contact... So far no one has a made a sound that works for me.

    Thanx for the mod.

--Very Funni Video :'D iMight check the mod out. I've just gained The Pain ability, klears out low level foes like a charm. One might say its even OP but I've yet to notice the 'flight' on foes as they tend to hit a near by wall. But now I'll pay it some mind.

yeah. I made my build with Pain Train and Moving target. Was such a juggernaut when sprinting. it's op against raiders and such, but was a necessity when going toe to toe with deathclaws.

Fantastic tweak, if frustratingly timed for me - I literally wrapped up a Pain Train/PA melee build playthrough yesterday (for the brotherhood!) and the biggest annoyance throughout was the amount of knockback. This looks perfect.

same here. I made a PA pilot build and Pain Train made it seem really goofy when launching death claws 15 feet everywhere. too bad I just wrapped mine up as well. will still get this mod if I decide to go back to it or use another one in the future.

Very nice. This is something I always wanted for Skyrim's "Shield Charge" ability. It was helpful to use, but a little too goofy for me to seriously enjoy using most of the time. This will also be very nice with the mod I have to use Pain Train out of power armor, as it definitely makes no sense for them to go flying while in normal armor.
