I'll be honest, i tried to make sense of the comments and responses...but i still don't understand how this works...so i was able to successfully recruit Dixie as a settler...but after that...thats it...all i can ask of her is to open the inventory and thats it...no companion option unless i missed a step somewhere...
NOTE: I tried to get her as a companion as soon as i recruited her as a settler...do i have to wait until she arrives to the settlement? Or can i just recruit her right off the bet once the recruit as a settler quest is done?

I returned to Nuka World during Power Play, and she still turned hostile because I turned on the Disciples.
Hi, I'm desperate. Completed the recruiting quest as normal and sent Dixie to a settlement. But can't recruit her as a companion. If I do it via the console as described here, I get the holotape but it only shows a blank screen. I've read through everything here and tried it - including esl esp. Nothing works. I can't find a mod that bothers me either. Last week I even finished the complete German translations for your two mods but I can't check them now because the original doesn't work. Any idea what else I can do? Otherwise I'll probably have to give up.

I'm assuming that the Amazing Follower Tweaks mod is preventing the Companion Quest from starting. Unfortunately, simply deactivating the AFT didn't help.
Can confirm the companion recruitment for Dixie if you're doing Open Seasons and killing the raiders is bugged, the companion quest isn't being set to stage 1 correctly.
Taking a look at the source code, the function that enables dixie as a companion and registers all her companion stuff is not working properly. After doing some research, it's because this global variable isn't setting properly "RecruitDixie_Dixie_Recruited" from the Recruit Dixie mod. That's still showing as 0.0, and your companion intialization stuff only runs if it's set to 1.
Also, doing a setstage to 1 for DixieCompanion_Quest is not a good recommendation because you miss all those registerevents and setup you have. So you need to have some way of fixing so that global var is properly set for people who haven't recruited her yet, and also retroactively have all those registerevents run for people who brute forced the setstage.
So yeah, you need to make sure that GlobalVariable is set properly when you slap the shock collar on her.
here's a script change you can make for the recruit Dixie quest in RecruitmentQuest.psc in line 218 add: (GetModForm(0xA4) as GlobalVariable).SetValueInt(1)
