      Do you mean the dog automatically opens every door it sees? It's probably because the latest version adds a new faction tag (i.e. Captive Faction) to him, which changes his behavior too. So I suggest you use the old version (v1.0).

      The dog won't open ALL doors but SOME which I too find annoying enough.

      So yes please: Make Dogmeat stop opening doors!

      Doesn't have anything to do with the mod, dogmeat; like all companions; always opened doors (always found that really annoying too).

      Yeah it's not because of the mod. He opened a door in the gas station last night and scared the crap out of me, because I was the only one there. xD

      It's always been a thing he does - I couldn't find the relevant "flag" in FO4Edit (probably still one of those "unknown variables"...), but I'm hoping it's as simple a fix as it would have been for Skyrim (a flag called "Can Use", i.e. - how they turned it off for Werewolves).

    Hello, I'm still using this mod and was wondering if there was a version coming out where dogmeat didn't attack enemies in a [caution] state. Dogmeat's fine if I stay completely hidden, but as soon as the enemy gets a whiff of me, he goes berserk.

    well dogmeat saved me so many time from those goddamn radscorpion but i guess it's time for me to grow up thanks for the mod
