But I can't seem to change the colour of the underwear in-game. No matter what colour I mod it to in the armour workbench, the underwear remains white. Any idea what I did wrong?
nupe, just one pair. I added it through the console and got "White Underwear". Then I modded it on the workbench into "Black Underwear", but it still appeared white when I wore it.
Loose files does work. I recently took this mod and worked on removing the tank and just having the boxers. All the color stuff works but only with the loose files.
After just getting back into Fallout 4 after building my new pc, I just realized I forgot to include the material files in the archive. I don't really plan on updating this mod anymore, unless someone makes a higher poly mesh that doesn't look like it took an hour to make.
[EDIT] It also turns out that Bethesda required specific naming rules for archives instead of just "does it start with the same name" so the archive doesn't even work.
I saw this on a post from Wolfgrimdark and can hardly wait to try it out on all my male followers... very cool idea and love the choose of colors. I mean really a man has to have some other colors then black and white , oh great work thank you so much for sharing

No worries - I just really liked how you created them - they looks good on the males so did a small showcase for it. But as you probably know harder to get exposure for male based mods - just the way it is
Awesome. I'd like to get the bodyslide thing finished but there's been a lot of stuff going on lately and modding hasn't been high on my priorities. So when I can I'll get it done.
P.S. Is a showcase like a youtube video showing off a couple mods? If so could you send me a link and I could put it in the description or something. If not, oh well. XD
Thanks to a tip from someone I figured out how to move the mesh down for the underwear. I must say you did a fine job - love the BOS design especially.
EDIT: To save comment space put everything into an album on Flickr. Got everything fixed - uses EVB body and no more clipping.
Damn. They look amazing. Do you think you could give me the Bodyslide data? I'll give thanks to you and start working on my other planned updates. It would give me a reason to get back to this. But I'd need to learn how to make the new modifications using the CK.

Sure thing - its past midnight here and been doing this project, plus Scavenger NCR (which was a nightmare to do because of the gloves and fingers), for last 7 hours or so - so going to bed soon. When I recuperate and have had some time to play first, will upload images and PM you with a link to get the SHB data files and converted mesh.
Ok. Thanks. Will have to tweak a few things with the mesh as Outfit Studio erroneously creates a darkened line around the end of the shorts. Other then that it looks like it works fine and I'd love to get my hands on a SHB version. Did you use the mesh that came from the Fallout 4 archives?
I noticed the line but wasn't anything I could do. Notice the black shorts tend to add some shadow around edge on the thigh but maybe thats the same thing you mentioned.
I used the mesh you had in your download - never even thought of using the one from the archive :p
My favorites are the white and the 4 faction ones. Sending you a PM with the download link. Then back to work on the Scavenger NCR conversion - got most of it done except one holster and the coat version.
Well the line was from a setting in Outfit Studio. Something about auto-normals. I'll have to see if it can be gotten rid of after the fact.
[EDIT] It was smooth seam normals. And it goes away with the option deselected. I think. Idk. I went back into bodyslide and it was still there. The mesh does look a little blocky but then again Bethesda didn't finish the mesh and make it look good. Just in preview it doesn't look as good as what was taken in your pictures.
[EDIT] I see that you put the body mesh in the underwear and then just shrunk the body inside the underwear. It looks like you may have accidentally altered the underwear portion.
I didn't at first but got tired of trying to go in and out of the game constantly to fix the clipping - so once the bulk of it was fixed I resolved the rest by shrinking the body inside.
Works for me though - you are welcome to redo it on your end if you don't like it.
Any chance of making a SHB conversion for this? I tried myself by the mesh does not look like the standard in Body slide - it floats above the body. Had the same issue with the Rebel outfit but luckily the SHB guy made a conversion for it.
I wanted to switch the body to the EVB one used by SHB and enable the sliders in a nutshell. But not familiar with NIFs and have no idea why a few mods have outfits that float off the body.
The mesh wasn't finished by Bethesda. The point where NifSkope has the parts of the mesh are in the wrong place for the underwear portion. So I cannot figure out how much it is moved by to move it. Although the mesh looks messed up in NifSkope, it works perfectly in-game, even in the Creation Kit it looks normal. I would love to make an SHB conversion. But alas, I do not have the tools or the knowledge to fix what Bethesda didn't. Even by manually transforming the mesh to move, it doesn't look good. So, no. I won't make an SHB conversion, not because I chose not to, but only because I myself am not able to with the knowledge I have.

Did you go to the armor workbench? The color options are made there. Looking at your download history you downloaded the right version.
And to have a shirtless option was thought of but it seems impractical because it would just be the shorts like the nude model uses. And there's a mesh issue that would make it difficult to have the shorts only and look good against the body. There is another mod that has a shorts only version but it has clipping issues and their colors aren't all that great.
I keep in touch with her from another site and she's been a big help with modding.

NMM always has and error and 7zip keeps saying that it isn't a zip.

Stand Alone Underwear Showcase
Love all the variety of colors and designs you made not to mention being able to upgrade the linings.
Hope to do a showcase later this week on the image share just for fun. Got 15 shots that came out pretty good.

It looks like AlienSlof is a fan, and she's like... a modding legend. And also an outside-the-box thinker.
