Don't like the new underwear? Wish you had something similar to previous Fallout games? Well, this mod has your answer. The developers at Bethesda most likely were working on a full body underwear as they did for previous games. However, they scrapped the idea in favor of a more showier naked model. I've gone in and made 12 (at first) different pieces of clothing, for each of the colors I made and their variants. Now you have the ability to wear something and feel the nostalgia from Fallout 3 or Fallout NV and in any color you'd like. Download today!

Just to make it clear, this does not replace anything in the game. It is a standalone piece of clothing. You can have any male NPC wear it and take it off at any time. It isn't an alteration to the nude model that you may or may not already have nude.

[Updating to 4.0+]
This is a MAJOR update. Remove any mod patch underwear from the game before you uninstall. Then uninstall any version of the mod patch. The old main file is still usable but I will no longer be updating it. I have not done intensive testing yet. Please report any bugs ASAP.

[Update 4.2 Notice]
This introduces a new mod section. If you got the underwear before this update, it will not have the new null mod given when the underwear is made. You will be able to select the "No" mod, and put it on the underwear. This is not a bug with the underwear, it is a bug with having a previous version.

[NEXT UPDATE]
-I am taking a break from updating for my own pleasure. I haven't received the feedback I was hoping to get, so I'm leaving this as it is. Any suggestions or ideas to progress this mod are still welcomed. I may come back to work on them. But updates will only happen if someone suggests it (or it's something I want changed). That INCLUDES the special modifications I was planning on doing. If you really want to see a mod come out, tell me. Otherwise it might not happen for a long time. If I get word of a mod that changes the do_ModMenuSlotKeywordList Form List, I will come back and make a patch.

     -A mod to make unarmed weapons do more damage. (A flat 10 points of damage)
     -A mod to make melee weapons do more damage. (A base damage change of 10)
     -A mod to increase total health. (A flat 25 points)
     -A mod to increase healing rate. (Value of 0.5. Takes about 180 seconds at 20% health.)
     -A mod that reduces fall damage. (25% fall damage reduction.)
     -A mod that reduces rads over time. (Value of 0.5. Takes about 120 seconds to remove 500 rads.)
     -A mod that increases AP regeneration. (Value of 1. Not very noticeable but is still there.)

[INSTALLATION]
Download the Colored Underwear file and install with NMM or extract the data folder into the Fallout 4 directory.
The old version with separate underwear for each color is available, but will no longer be updated.

[RECOMMENDED] - Recommendations will be put here for other people not to recommend the same thing.
-Various animal prints.
     -Leopard
     -Tiger
     -Zebra
-Camo on shorts. (This wasn't specific enough at the time. I have 4 camo patterns and to apply them all to all other colors would be a whole lot of work.)

[COMPATIBILITY]
Update 4.3 will introduce a possible compatibility issue with the do_ModMenuSlotKeywordList Form List. Any mod that changes this record will either need a patch, or will make mod lists not in the correct order, depending on your load order. Mods that have a compatibility patch made for will be listed here, along with that patch uploaded to this page.

Crazy Earl's Weapon Mods - Patch has been made and uploaded to the optional files. If you use both mods, get this patch to have both mods' lists correct.

[NOTES]
-Please, do not use this in any mod unless you are given permission to.
-This will NOT work with females. Bethesda didn't finish the female mesh. There's nothing I can do about this.
-You will be able to wear pieces over the underwear but there might be clipping issues, so I'd recommend against it.
-If you have a recommendation for a certain color or pattern or mix of colors or patterns please comment and I'll work on trying it.
-I welcome uploading pictures of you using the underwear. Especially in a color or variant I have not uploaded myself. (I deeply encourage this. If you've seen the pictures I uploaded, they are a low resolution and don't use any visual effects. (My computer can't handle F4 the way it was intended))
-I am deciding not to make any more color options unless someone suggests it. If you want a color, tell me, don't wait for me to make it.

[BODYSLIDE]
-If you use Super Hero Bodies and want to have the Underwear morph with your preset, download the optional bodyslide file. You must add it to a SHB group before you are able to use your preset.
     -Due to the way Bodyslide works, and that Bethesda didn't finish the mesh, there will be a darkened line on the bottom of the shorts. There is absolutely no way that the line can be gotten rid of without editing the mesh. You'll need to edit the mesh with nifSkope.
     -All that is needed to do to remove the lines is to click on the underwear portion, then right-click the section, hover over "Mesh" and select "Face Normals".
          -ousnius said to also select "Smooth Normals" and "Update Tangent Spaces". So if you want to make sure nothing gets messed up do those options too.
