Just a note, this WILL conflict with weather mods. Sunrise and sunsets are found under "Climate", one of which affects weather chances. Has to be patched in xEdit.
Nice, couldn't you put the same mod with less longer nights, like then sunset beginning at 21 or 22 (like in summer in fact ). Or better have possibility to choose ourselves the times ?
Anyway the first would be really nice, i like to enjoy the day graphisms and lights.
The default day doesn't get full dark until 2200 already - and the default night darkness is still pretty bright.
There's no way to allow you to choose your own time except by opening up the game with FO4Edit and changing the sunrise/sunset times in the 'Climate' entry. Its incredibly easy to do so you could do your own custom times easily.
Can confirm that FO4Edit can be used to modify the sunrise and sunset times. The changes I made only took effect after I disabled True Storms' "Early Sunset" option; as long as that option was enabled, it caused my changes to the Climate values to do nothing.
After some experimentation I found that Sunrise at 07:00 - 07:30 and sunset at 20:30 - 21:00 worked best. I use Darker Nights and generally don't like to play in the dark (in Fallout 4 VR it's really scary!) so going to bed around 10 pm right before it gets too dark to see anything, and waking up at 6 am when there is "early morning light" gives about 8 hours of sleep which feels right. Also it gives 16 hours of "playable daylight" which feels right.
The thing to keep in mind is that the sky actually starts brightening before sunrise, so with a sunrise at 7 am, there is enough light to play by starting around 6 am. And there is still ambient light after sunset, which is why a sunset completing at 9 pm still allows playable light until 10 pm.
I use a campsite mod so if I'm out in the wasteland as 10 pm nears I can pitch a tent and sleep until morning.
Nice Idea, but the game is supposed to be during autumn and winter (I'm currently in january ingame) Now, It's december IRL, the sun rises approximatively at 0800 and set at 1800 (yeah, I know I could know exactly when, but my point is, it could be better if you could put real hours.)
