I'd really like to see screenshots of this mod in use. So here's a request from me for everyone who's got a nice shop/bar they've put together using this mod to upload a screenshot of it.

For those who've been asking about it. Version 2.1 simplifies Manual Installation and adds a Readme.txt!

      Uploaded one Screenshot as requested!

... of a Sanctuary Bar Template.

Edit: the fine tuning in scaling and rotation/z-position was made, so the Keeper is cleaning/leaning without Floating.

Edit 2: Even downloading the 2.1.1 RE file, NMM still says it's the 2.1 and assumes there is a newer Version online. Dunno why?! Maybe a typo?

This is one of the first mods I ever downloaded for Fallout 4, I never liked the vanilla stores and this made a nice little alternative. The only problem I had was, as others have mentioned, the registers don't sit on the standard height countertops. The registers sit about 2 points above and the clinic boxes sit 3 points below. If you lower the registers with the console then the NPCs hands clip into the counter, and if you raise the clinic boxes their feet elevate 3 points above the floor. I finally decided to look into this issue and I found two different fixes for this, both require modding the original files.

Quick and easy fix: Open this mod as the active file in the creation kit. Once loaded type "workshopstore" in the filter box (for the bar use workshopbar).  You should see the register stores marked as numbers 04, 05, and 06 (aka WorkshopStoreArmor04, etc). (They should have an asterisks in the count column.) Double click each store to open the edit window, then click on "interaction point" and raise the Z to 2, then click OK.  For the clinic you will need to lower it to -3. Once done save the mod and load the game. In the game you can now use the console to lower the registers down 2 points (modpos z -2) and raise the clinic box 3 (modpos z 3) and the NPCs should line up with them properly.

A far more advanced fix is to correct the source of the issue by editing the nif files using NifSkope. I DO NOT recommend this method for those inexperienced in NifSkope! (I'm only beginning to learn it myself and I'm only somewhat sure I did it right.) You should find the files under Fallout 4 > Data > Meshes > ConvenientStores. For registers, open each file and look for the ones where the Z is set to 80 and lower it to 78. There should be 3; 14 NiNode, and under that 17 BsTriShape, the finally 20 NiNode. For the clinic boxes you need to raise them from 75 to 78, again there should be 3; 23 NiNode, 26 NiNode, and 29 BsTriShape.

I've tested both methods and they seem to work fine for me, but I take no responsibility for any problems that might arise. I recommend making a backup of the mod and/or the nif files before attempting this. Worst case scenario you can always uninstall and redownload the mod. Again, DO NOT attempt either of these if you don't have Creation Kit or NifSkope experience.

    Hello...
I know this mod hasn't been worked on for 4 yrs by the looks in logs...
But ppl are still using it, I found this thru a you tube looking for something else, and one of the main reason I downloaded it, was because I thought it let you use the store Without needing the Local Leader perk 2 , reading the description doesn't mention it, but after going back 7 pages of postings using control + f you must have the Local Leader r2 perk still ,..
I really couldnt be bothered with that perk, but i know there's a mod out there that will let build stores without it, ..
So going in search of it ...
Love the rest of the mod, just didnt like having to have the blasted perk , uninstalled ...

If you can't be bothered with using perk points as you earn them, just console this:

      player.AddPerk 1D2468

But you still have to have the 1st perk (4D88D).

If you want a complete list of perks and their codes, google it.  I have a startcharacter.txt batch file that I use.  Hey, Nate's a veteran, he probably DOES have all the skills I picked in that file (more than likely).

Bothered.  lol.  There are a handful of them that are stupid, or get in the way, actually, but definitely not this one.

i know that this is probably not updated anymore, and probably doesnt need to, but i was wondering, if its possible to add a shipment store to the mod, to get all kind of shipments whitout having to cruise all the commonwelth just to get some materials for your settlement. thanks!

That would be grammatically incorrect and wouldn't make the name any funnier

Think there's any chance of PS4 version of this that uses only the default register? This mod was exactly what I was looking for and would really appreciate a PlayStation port.

That NMM install process should be a personality test or something. So convenient and really made me choose colors for a reason haha

Cash register height in relation to worker is wrong. When register is placed on surface, worker hands will clip trough this surface, and his legs will clip in floor. There should be +3 pts height difference.

I had problems placing these registers on vanilla counters, but I tried with Evanpox Modular Kitchen and it fits perfectly (counters must be placed on a floor first) - both registers and medkits.

I've completely stopped playing Fallout 4 for months in anticipation of the CK so my apologies if my knowledge is less than perfect. Does this mod still function correctly with the newest patches, dlc, etc? Is it NMM compatible? Thank you in advance!

I've been wondering the same, but I have to assume since there's not many, if any people at all complaining about it not working, I'd have to assume it's working fine still.

should work. afaik all it does is replace the model for the stand.

I just tried it in Vault 88, so the game setup as new as it gets. Works perfectly. Both the stands and the registers. And I used all 6 vendor types. I have every vendor type in that vault. It even fits on one of the Vault Tec metal counters, at the default height.

If it makes any difference, I'm still on the 1.1 mod, though, because I don't care all that much for colours. Hope this helps.
