Is this usable on current version? I'm aware that it was created Pre-GECK, but this is the only mod I can find allowing for multiple dog companions, and I'm wanting to play as a "Beastmaster" type character.
Could you make one that allows you to walk around with more than one of the vanilla followers instead of a pack of dogs? I'd like to walk around with 2 or maybe up to 5 followers at a time(possibly no more than 4, actually, and not all the time). I find it weird that we can only walk in pairs and even more so that no one addressed it yet (you were the closest one, so far)
please be aware that multiple companions does require script editing. due to this fact at this current time we are still waiting on the GECK to launch. so i would expect to see the multi companion mods begin launching after the release early 2016
The NMM is telling me there is a problem installing it now. Something about it not having the correct file structure. Can someone help me out? This is the only mod I want right now.

To get both a dog and preston:
Get preston as follower Click on preston in console: spawndupe
Click on duplicate preston in console: setrace dogmeatrace
BE WARNED: If you load a save after this they will both be dogs and you will have to set preston as humanrace again and possibly resurrect him.
Also if you load the save, the duplicate dog might stop following you in which case you should click on it in console and disable it. Then just make a new dog duplicate.
I would release something for this but it is just too much work and I don't think anyone is willing to do this for every time they load a save.
btw If you do this with Piper the duplicate just turn invisible.
It might work with other companions but I haven't tried any others and probably won't.
thanks I might try it, but im confused why nobody has removed the companion limit , I thought it would be pretty simple , but I wouldnt know i dont mod so.. haha
