    howdie,

thanks for all your hard work. Been using your modifyStrings Scripts extensively for modding Starfield.

Needed to change A LOT of fullnames that are not stored directly in fullname. But as subpart of components -> component of type TESFullName_Component

So I did a minor extension of your script to handle these Component Fullname strings.
In addition added a new Option under Replace that does a classical from->to substring replacement.

While searching found a couple other people needing to do the same. So my extensions might be useful to others.

    Under permissions you note:

Do anything you want with these, as long as I get half the gold.

Does that include releasing my version as a mod here? With PLENTY of credits going to this mod and you.
And half the Donation Points going to you and the other half to ElMinsterAU?

Alternatively I can send you my version if you want to update this mod of course!

thanks again for all your work!

    cheers

Thank you very very much! Works like charm, made it easy peasy to create patches for FallUI Sorter.

    Kudos!

Wow glad I found this - I have been trying to find an easy way to modify weights to zero without learning several new program languages and this fit the bill. My only problem are those weights listed under DATA along with the value field and not just DATA - Weight which you have. I tried using similar code listed for EFFECT with the "/" and a few others (i.e. DATA - Data/Weight) as noted in your script, but no luck. Am I missing something?
    Anyone else have an idea?
    Thanks all

Is it possible to add the ability to change MODL - Model FileName for weapons armors etc. ?

I want to add the same properties to a bunch of object modifications. Is there a way to mass copy a bunch (around 6) of properties from one object modification into a a ton of other object modifications from the same mod without having to drag and drop every individual entry into every single record? I have been trying to find away to mass copy properties into multiple records as it would save me a ton of time.

Dank Rafft has a slightly different version, updated 05 February 2020. The posts over there are a bit newer, and therefore more lively. I think Dank Rafft is still in development for a few script utilities. They might be able to answer your question on that mod thread. User "Ablaze666" seemed to have solved your problem https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/40575?tab=posts
I cannot be certain about this, my experience with mass copying object modifications has been limited; FO4Edit "Deep Copy into..." is all that I have needed so far...

I hope one of those guys should be able to point you in the right direction. You have my sympathy. Without a script, it would be like rewriting the dictionary.

Thanks to this script, I can save tremendous time for making patches for an item sorting mod. Absolutely wonderful. Thank you very much.
