Getting back into modding now, and wondering if people still have an interest in this mod? Judging by the bug thread, it's not working? Would people want an update for this mod?

It seems like something I'd be interested in. I think the radio freedom normally does an announcement every real-world minute to announce the in-game time, so a 1-minute interval announcement version with silence in-between would be good for me. I like to listen to the announcements but don't really care for the violins.

GOD yes please, i hate the annoying music on RF but like the announcements, if you can make the announce versions work again i'd be happy.

YES i would be interested. especially if there was an option with more alternate songs. maybe we should all go insane waiting for updates from preston while listening to my heart will go on or something.

If you adjust the timescale, the spacing of the announcements is likewise effected because it takes more (or less!) time to reach the next announcement... This is particularly useful if you add the oldies music.

I used "LazyAudio XWM FUZ converter" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71749?tab=description) and Audacity to shorten the silent clips to about 1 second for two reasons:

    1. I didn't see a reason to wait several minutes of silence to hear the next alert.

    2. The main reason was the realization that there is a glitch where Radio Freedom stops broadcasting (make sure to hook the radio transmitter to a switch that can be turned off and on to fix it), and I realized that I wouldn't really have a good way to notice that if I'm used to silence anyways.

Does anyone know if this sort of thing could cause problems?

Latest version of UOF04 update killed the alert only.  I'm trying with the music.

This mod works perfectly and really makes playing as 'The General' so much more pleasant. Playing with music OFF and the Ten Minute Frequency is ideal for me, no distractions just the 10 minute report with alerts if Settlement requires my super powers.

Simple, does the job, an excellent mod, many Thanks!

this is what i was surprised took untill the bottom of page # 2 to read :) thank you sir my feelings are shared.. if thou says it works then it is worth a try, now i won't have to turn OFF all of the NICER music that is available in settlements from myriads of radio stations and jukeboxes just to hear Minutemen reports :) ..
downloading and most likey will Endorse :)

For all 37 (or 42) Diamond City Radio songs, instead of just the 11 selected by the author:
    https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/66510

My mod is also just 1kb instead of 12mb.

0/10 mod. too much Southern Dixie, not enough Northern Dixie.

Well, I don't blame the author. After all, one has to be careful where they stick their Dixie.

I just found Fallout Music Replacer today and have already made 3 alternate replacers for Minutemen radio :D

(Note: the author says the finished files are supposed to appear in the Output folder, for me on Windows 10 they are not, they are ending up in Temp, but you can just pack the Data folder up in a zip file yourself and then install using your mod manager.)

So far I've made a 90's playlist, Elderborn and a Linkin Park set.

I mean, its not really pioneer music, just violin.

But it would be nice to have some variation in songs yes.
