Right Leg Armor can't be modded!
Caused mostly by an outdated Unofficial FO4 Patch. Make sure to update it to at-least version 1.0.5
If you have updated it, and still cant mod the right leg. Then something else is conflicting. Try adjusting load order. Or use FO4Edit to figure out what is conflicting.

None of the paint options are showing up on my armor!

Not sure what to say.. except.. it.. just... works.... for me anyways.

99.999% of the time, this is generally caused by mod conflicts. Either that or the download is corrupt.

What you should always try first, when any mod doesn't work the way you expected, is you deactivate all other mods you have installed, and only try the new mod individually to see if it even works to begin with.

If it doesn't work, then 1 of 2 reasons may be the cause. Either your save is corrupt. Or the download is corrupt.

In whatever case, it is not something i can fix or solve.

Where is the Minutemen, Railroad, BoS or Atom Cats Decal?

All of them except the BoS decal can be found in the Factions Decal Category. But they need to be unlocked to show up.

Minutemen decal unlocks when you join the Minutemen.

Railroad decal unlocks after completing Tradecraft for the Railroad.

Atom Cats Decal unlocks by buying the PA paint at their garage.

BoS decal is unlocked when you gain the Knight rank. You should gain this after visiting the Prydwen for first time and talking to Maxson. The decal is found under the BoS Category.

Is the the the 3.0+ version compatible with CBBE?

Malibu35072 made a conversion that is compatible with v3 that you can find here

Where do i download Commonwealth Faction Armors?

CFA is not a separate mod. It's an optional plugin mod included in installer, that uses Custom Combat Armors painting system to give the various Commonwealth factions their own custom paint job.

Any plans to add moddable Marine Combat Armor?

I want to.. but it's tricky. As the marine combat armor does not use palettes the way Combat Armor does. Which would require extensive amount of work to convert the texture to a greyscale texture that can accept palettes.

So it's gonna be a more long term plan.. I may look into it further when i get to the Far Harbor part in my current Survival playthrough.

A paint is missing/doesn’t look right!

Report it to the bug section. Make sure to include the index number which is found in the description of the paint. ex: "i28"

    My favorite paint is missing!

While converting the old paints to the new palette system. Some paints like the old Splatter ones, might not look the same as before. Try different pattern variant combos and see if the different mixes makes it look better.

Otherwise make a paint request in the Paint Request Forum section

When making a request you will need to provide some details of what your paint should look like.

Use this site to figure out what colors you like: http://www.color-blindness.com/color-name-hue/

And provide the color code. ex: ffcc00

The Armor plate has 4 different colors, which the different camo patterns use. So list them as A1, A2, A3 and A4.

The Cloth color is mainly used by the lil water flasks and belt pockets. List this as C. Also note if you want dirt to show on the flasks and what color the dirt should be. The dirt will not show on the clean and camo patterns.

And next list the Leather color as L. And lastly the Metal color as M. The Metal color is also used by the Carbon Fiber pattern.

So a request would look kinda like this:

    A1: 050096 A2: 96003C A3: B4C100 A4: D100D8 C: 00CE3D Dirt: 33170A L: 423513 M: 472070

There are currently 65 slots free on the palette. So requests will be first come first serve. If the maximum capacity is reached, then it will take some time before i bother adding a new palette as it involves A LOT of work..

Does this work with other armor mods?

It should. I use quite a few armor mods and I have had no conflicts.

Does this replace any game textures?

It replaces all the default textures for the Combat Armor.

Was this mod created in FO4EDIT?

    Yes.

My game keeps crashing at startup

Most likely a corrupt download or installation. Or incompatibility with other mods.

Try deactivating all other mods except EndorsCustomCombatArmor.esp and see if the game still crashes at startup. If it still crashes then it's either a corrupted download or installation. And you should try re-downloading the mod. If that still doesn't help. Try manually unpacking the mod into game folder.

If that still doesn't work. Then something is probably broken with your game. And you may have to clean out your data folder of custom folders, and re-verify the game in Steam.

As there is no way we would ever upload a copy of the game that would cause a crash on startup. That is the very least thing we and most modders test for.

    My game keeps crashing in-game

If using Armorsmith Extended and the compatibility patch. Make sure that AE is updated to the latest version that the compatibility patch supports.

Uninstall Combat Helmet illumination and it's compatibility patch, if you have it. The functionality of that mod is already integrated into CCCA. And the changes made in v 2.5 are not compatible with the outdated CCCA patch from Combat Helmet illumination. And has been known to cause CTDs with v2.5+.

What you should try first to solve this, is loading EndorsCustomCombatArmor.esp last, and then any CCCA compatibility patches after it.

If you still get crashes, try deactivating all other plugins except EndorsCustomCombatArmor.esp.

If the game still crashes. Then try re-downloading and re-installing the mod.

If the game functions properly after deactivating all other plugins. Then one of those plugins is conflicting.

To figure out which mod that may be conflicting. Then try deactivating mods 5 or 10 at a time, starting up the game to test the game, until it starts working properly. Then 1 by 1 reactivate the mods you deactivated last and test the game, until the crash/bug happens again.

At which point you will have found the mod causing the conflict.

You can then report this as a compatibility bug, and i can look further into it and see if i can create a compatibility patch for the conflicting mod.

Now if despite trying all these things, and the game still crashes in-game. Then report the bug. And provide a list of your load order. And exactly what you did when said crash happened.

I will eventually upload this to consoles. But i want to give it a week or 2 of testing and get some feedback before i do so.

As it will be a bit tricky to add there with their 1 plugin per page restriction. And the recent patch added a master file for all the keywords.
So i would have to publish a separate mod page just for that master file.... So i rather upload a working version first.

Gotta love the amazing work Bethesda put into their modding site to make it as cumbersome as humanly possible.

Bit of a problem getting Console release working.. As the Creation Kit keeps crashing every time i try to upload it to Bethesda.net..

Will have to tinker somewhat with this.. Not quite sure where the problem lies.

May be able to upload a console version soon. The Creation Kit has finally stopped crashing on me. Gonna take a bit of work though. As i need to pack together all the files, and make sure all of them get packed in correctly.

Will only be including the AIO patch for the console versions, and will not upload individual patches. Bethesda.net is far to cumbersome to maintain that many mod pages..
Though, i may have to modify a special version of it for consoles, that does not include patches for mods not available at Bethesda.net.

Just a heads up. If you're using or planning on installing the Unified Clothing Overhaul. Then make sure to load this mod after UCO. Otherwise things wont work correctly.
But the UCO skins and recolors should show up normally, as both mods share AWKCR keywords for handling color swaps.

Sorry for long absence. But i lost interest in modding FO4 years ago. Mostly because i got burnt out, as it was eating away huge amounts of my time working on this. And partly because i got sick and tired of Bethesdas bullshit with their paid mods crap, and how when they patched that s#*! in, it also ended up breaking several mods...

I have changed permissions so that others can use the assets in mod in their own mods and upload fixes for this if they want to update this mod, as i'm too lazy to deal with checking all the messages people keep sending me asking for permissions... Just make sure to give credit to me and Endormoon.

This mod works perfectly for me, however AWKR is a bloated mess with an insane unwanted level of new crafting tables and features. If anyone ever updates this mod PLEASE remove that requirement

Agreed, this mod is the only reason I'm still using AWKR.

this mod hasn't been updated to the last AWKCR version, it's been abandoned since 2016, but there's a no AWKCR version here if you're interested

It worked great for about a day then it just stopped working, I've tried reinstalling countless times/configurations and all I can ever change is the paint job on the gloves. Do not understand :((

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but having Concealed Armor installed causes the paints to not show up in the armor workbench.

For some reason my armor's decals aren't displaying any more- any idea how to fix this?

I installed a clothing mod yesterday (that replaced some clothing items, shouldn't have touched combat armor at all), but that's now been uninstalled, I've even uninstalled and reinstalled THIS mod after removing the one I installed yesterday and still nothing's working...

I guess I can live without decals, but seeing as I gave EVERY combat armor set my settlement guards wear Minuteman decals, it freakin' sucks that i can't see them now.

I have loved this mod for years and years but now I am trying to live armor keywords free these days.  I took the textures and meshes (the short legs) but the one thing I can't figure out is how to apply the logo on the chest without a purple circle behind it.  Am I missing something? I only used the textures and meshes.  Thanks.
