After the most recent update, just launching the launcher for the game disables mods. I had the exact same problem after the latest patch. I must of started up and closed the game like 10 times trying to get the plugins.txt to stay as I had it and not disable my mods.
In your Fallout 4 folder, rename "Fallout4Launcher.exe" to "Fallout4Launcher.exe.bak" (or whatever you like, to keep it as a backup in the folder). Then take "Fallout4.exe", make a copy of it (CTRL C / CTRL V), and rename the copy to "Fallout4Launcher.exe"
Now, every time you launch the game, it will just start the game straight up, and it won't mess with, revert, or change any of your ini files, or your plugins.txt file. Much easier then the latest found work around to enable mods (that only works some of the time, if you're lucky) after the latest patch, and it works 100% of the time, no fail.
Great job, love it. Think you can make something similar with the Illusive Man's eyes from Mass Effect? Someone has already done it but you keep the human actual eye while replacing the iris and it looks far better. Some examples:
So, something happened and now I currently have no eyes. Not a blank eye, none. They can't be selected. I can't change them in the character creator with the console commands, or at Mega Surgery.
the exact same happened to me havent found a solution yet :/ tried reinstalling the mod, disabling the mod, install a different eye mod and verify game files...nothing fixed it.
The mod is disabled. You have to enable the mod. The latest patch disables all mods in your plugins.txt when the launcher for the game is launched, you have to do a work around.

I really liked all of the eyes but the one i really wanted was the Oculus eyes.... and after installing with nmm that was the only one I didn't get. xD
I've tried reainstalling twice but Oculus still missing.
After the latest update, you have to re-edit all your ini files to support mods again, and also make sure to check you plugins.txt to make sure it's enabled.
So i dont know if its conflicting with the Valkyr Female Face and Body Textures (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3841/?), but when I use the eyes they seem to "pop" out from the bottom eye lid, and looks weird. could also be that im in the beta patches for the game, but wondering if anyone else had an issue like this.
So did I, the anime was great. But I hope they continue it. I'm guessing they will since the one-off did so well they made the anime, then the anime did even better.
Hi, I uploaded some images with Piper using the eyes, unfortunately not too long after her face went bad and I had to remove the mod and load to a previous save before the eyes were applied to her. This seems to happen with most of the appearance altering mods when I try to apply them to companions. I appreciate the mod alot and I will probably use it for photo purposes only, once again thank you very much.
I love the fact that these are standalone eyes and do not replace anything. Would you be willing to share the secret of how you got them standalone to other eye-mod authors?
