    Endorsed!

Being the 'want every food item in Fallout 4 to look as new as possible' type of person, this retexture fits in perfectly. Thanks for taking the time to retexture Dandy Boy Apples.

    hey there...
if you can handle some constructive criticism..
nice work you are doing there- i have seen your other mods too-, they are all too colorful for the fallout world-environment...try applying some flaws, stains, scratches in you textures to make them fit in more in the post-apocalyptic environment...and maybe yo get more downloads and endorsements too.

      I couldn't disagree more.

I'm butchering my E key every time I see a shelf, because everything just looks the same, bland and pale, so I don't even bother trying to distinguish lootables from piles of trash, I just move my mouse over the surface, and hit E like a madman.

With lively colors I can finally get a slight visual hint, without the need to use obtrusive mods that just apply the scrapper highlight on everything.

And of course there is the added sense of immersion. It's a carton box with supposedly edible food inside. It wouldn't make sense for it to be edible if the package was withered too much (like in the vanilla picture, I actually experience synesthesia every time I look at it, I smell mold).

I'm also pretty sure that not every mod author is publishing for the sole reason of getting a shot at being toplisted. Sure, it feels nice, but it's not what the mod is for.

it is just a matter of taste...
i would prefer a shader mod with a bit more vibrant colors instead of that it hits my eye from 10 meters...otherwise if it was so obviously visual it would have been looted from others, raiders etc.before the PC in the fallout world...
it is a good think for us-players that the community has thousands of modders, and anyone can pick the mods that match his/her taste...
      enjoy the game mate...))

      Hi there,
I love when people take a minute to actually share opinions and throw any advice, so thank you for that. I understand that a more "obscure" overlay would probably fit the wastelands a bit better and I intended to upload 2 versions of the file (new/old) so people can choose the the more suitable design for any individual taste.
Most of my mods are designed according to what I like and what I enjoy using/finding in Fallout 4; I decided to share most of my mods here so more players can expand and customize the game IF they find them interesting.
From now on I'll try to upload 2 versions in order to pacify both sides
      Thank you fr stopping by,

      have a colourful day!

"it is a good think for us-players that the community has thousands of modders, and anyone can pick the mods that match his/her taste..."

So don't suggest something that would make a mod uniform and lose what is special about it? I think you failed to follow your own advice here. (English is not my native language either.)

      @Greentea15
Good idea, most food items have a preserved variant anyway.
