Ooo mod! Ooo clean! Ooo Dark! Ooo black! Very rare that I see each variation of a texture mod and get more and more excited and then have to debate which one to use. Picking a texture from this mod is like picking my favorite kitten from a litter, it's not easy.
I like this version over the others because of the choices, and the Nuka Girl on the front! And it looks as good as, or better than the others. I plan to apply it after my next visit to Nuka World. A note for you immersion freaks out there, like me; there's a mod that makes Pipboy retextures unique to the player. Every other Pipboy remains vanilla. It's called "Player Only Unique PipBoy".
Hello, I still love this version. Just wanting to make you aware that the Top Right-hand Dial have the Nuka Cola logo backwards....like a mirror image. I only noticed it on a load screen, which is the only time anyone would see it, unless they use "TFC" command.
Good eye! I'll have it fixed in the next update. I've been very occupied with my personal life so I haven't gotten around to working on my mods much. Thank you!
@Goujiin; I agree with you about the style. I had one of the first few Nuka Cola Red colored, it was ok at it's best. I liked the back hinge being black with the red colored Nuka Cola name in the game's font style. But I was wanting something different, then I happened to see Kane's work, and have yet to see anything better for my tastes. Like I stated in another post, I'm glad he used a darker blue color for "Quantum" instead of the neon bright eye blinding blue.
I'm pretty sure I had this mod downloaded a few months after it launched and I have never been happier to use it. I love the nuka theme a lot and if it was just Nuka Cola red, I'd likely have uninstalled it due to being boring. The Nuka Cola theme made this my most favourite mod and the longest installed mod on my list. I have seen others and they look pretty good but this one is my keeper mod. I couldn't give you more props.
Love the Quantum. Glad it's a blue and not a neon light blue that hurts the eyes. Endorsed and will be mentioned in my mod compilation forum thread when I actually finish it (If it's alright with you?).
Go right ahead! Thanks for the feedback. I feel the same way, if I have to look at it throughout most of the game then I want to make sure it's not assaulting my eyeballs. Definitely an improvement from V0.2, and hoping to improve more.
Now that I actually have the motivation to improve the mod, I'll be sure to make it compatible. Thank you for your suggestion. Check back often for more updates.
