I thought they painted the moon pink and drew Lenin's face on it?

That's what they wanted you to think! I'll admit, they had me fooled, too! In REALITY, it was AAAAALL a big cover-up, what with all the Commie Ghosts, and such. The Government, or rather, A government, of unknown origin, used holograms to distract us, while they mined the moon for resources, split it in half, and flew off to a new planet! Aaaaany minute now, they're gonna come BACK! With ZETANS! And let the Aliens sic their brain eating WORMS on us!

It's AAALL just a matter of time, now!

Wondering if someone could make this work with the Death Star moon replacer so that it looks like the DS blew up the moon lol

its a mod. simply install using nmm/vortex and voila! moon is now broken ingame!

have vortex or nmm downloaded and open.
      click files
      click download with modmanager

      wait for download to complete
double click downloaded mod in your manager
and this should really be all you need.

You know this could be a great asset for a post-apocalyptic non-fallout sci-fi mod.

Any chance for console users to get any of these?

Yeah now we just need a Sun Sword weapon Mod and Mok retexture of Super Mutants. Thundarr The Barbarian approves of this Moon Mod I'm sure.

This looks cool, and I would like to use it, but it wont work. I can only get the base broken moon mod to work. I can't get either the RWBY or the Time Machine one to work at all.

I have tried having only the mod for the Time Machine installed but all I get is the Vanilla Moon.

If I install the first destroyed moon mod and then apply the Time Machine moon mod all I get is the base destroyed moon image, not the Time Machine moon.

    Is there something I'm missing?

The file structure is laid out wrong. It installs to \Fallout 4\Data\(version of mod)\sky when it needs to install to \Fallout 4\Data\textures\sky - the original mod is set up correctly, but the other ones have the file structure laid out wrong in the file.

Cant seem to get the RWBY moon to work. The normal destroyed moon works fine. rather sad because i like the RWBY moon a lot more.

Same. Haven't tried any of the others (because I'm trying to run a RWBY-inspired playthrough currently, playing as Yang with a Ruby 'Construct a Custom Companion' follower using some character creation mods + RWBY Weapons mod), but can confirm RWBY moon not working.

I figured out our problem (assuming you installed via NMM or MO). Turns out, the mod managers install it wrong, because the mod maker didn't lay out the file structure correctly. The textures install to \Fallout 4\Data\RWBY Moon v1\sky when they're meant to install to \Fallout 4\Date\textures\sky

Correction: the textures install to \Fallout 4\Data\RWBY Moon v1\sky when they're meant to install to \Fallout 4\Data\textures\sky (the Nexus reply system turned \D into a smile...)

Neat idea but... not actually very accurate in the physics department. The chunks of the moon in the various versions are large enough that they would collapse into a sphere upon their own gravity. What's more, there is enough mass in the moon that if it isn't completely shattered and scattered, it'd just literally fall back into itself, forming a single piece again.

Now this... would actually be really cool because, well... You know the dark spots on the moon? Those are cooled lava from impacts. The white areas are dust from debri that's been scattered. What we'd have is basically a big black moon with pools and rivers of lava as it cools over time.
