thats funny, cause I cant think of a soldier i know personally that doesnt have one. my father had military themed tattoos from his time in Nam. SF and other elite branches have been known to tattoo their bloodtype, and many who severed tattoo their unit abbreviation and or motto on themselves.
@NinjaGrimm And where is the proof of that? Besides the BOS isn't an army, they are an order of metallic monks (even if Beth made them like an uninteresting real world army in FO4). Atleast Cyrus has tattoos, even if the game isn't considered canon.
They are more of a military. They were planed to be super advanced technological monks in first concept but they are more like a branch off of the Pre-War Military with changes to suit their new mission and identity. Best I can describe Fallout 4's BoS is a Military Dictatorship with a semi feudal system when it comes to civilians and as long as they provide recruits and food (basically primitive taxes) they can kind of govern their settlement under he watch and protection of the BoS. Their is no real emphasis on like building a proper government and uniting the settlements under it as a country or anything more like a loose collective when it comes to civilians that get protection in exchange for providing services, supplies, and men to the brotherhood. It's like a Semi Feudalistic Military Dictatorship or something. If you got a better way to describe Maxon's East Coast BoS let me know.
armies do allow tattoos. there are some regulations, but they're not forbidden. and the BoS is fictional and there are no lore instances claiming they're against tats.
How did you edit these to get them to actually work correctly in game? I want to use one tattoo texture of my own creation but for some reason it makes characters all black in game.
This is really great but is there a way to make the ad victorium tat on the lower stomach like I've seen in other mods? I don't know anything about mods so if not perfectly fine. I just don't want to tattoo my girl's face.
Hey great mod. Really helped me make my BOS character more complete.
I however have one minor issue. I feel that the neck tattoos are a bit too far toward the front of the neck, and feel that they would look better on the sides of the neck. I understand that certain articles of clothing and armor may cover them up more, but to me it just seems more aesthetically pleasing to place them on the sides.
Particularly FaceTat05. In my opinion it's the best-looking tat, but to have it so close to the throat and not on the side is a bit of a bummer. I may just try to figure out how to adjust it on my own.
Sorry if this is a noob question but where can i get the tattoo's in game? I tried the face guy in diamond city but nothing. Would love to use the neck tattoo's, they look awesome
Edit: I got one of the kneck tattoo's, question is do I have to collect the rest in-game or does anyone know the locations?
