My mod, New Calibers http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8588/? adds new ammo to the game, and comes with various patches for some popular weapon mods. Also in the downloads page is my vanilla ammo renaming mod, because I decided to put it there instead of it's own page, because reasons.
Anyway, my re-name mod makes the .38 to a .32 ACP and also re-chambers the PPK to the .32 Auto.
It is literally exactly what you were looking for.
suggest/wanted: screenshots of both versions when simply holding gun in "hip fire" mode, since I want to see how the text looks with and without from player perspective, will download text version and see but others might want to know this also..
Would be nice if there were more info on the description page. Where do I find this weapon? Is It something I pick up? Do I have to put a code in? Exactly what weapon does it replace? More info please.
It's found in a quest related to the Railroad faction, and was already in the vanilla game. Look up "The Deliverer".
And before you ask, if you already wiped out the Railroad; too bad- this pistol is forever lost without console command usage, at least to my knowledge.

Why'd they use a revolver cartridge in automatic weapons, and who'd try to fit a 10mm round into a PPK? Oh wait.. Bethesda did, didn't they?
Shameless plug now begins:
