Make sure all special characters are removed including dashes and spaces and numbers
If still nothing appears in the output folder MAKE SURE you have the latest Microsoft VCC ++ installed as well as BOTH the x86 and x64 versions of this which will include MSVCR100.DLL
when i tried to covert an mp3 file, it finishes but there's no file in the output folder. After a few attempts, i started getting a System error. "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."
re-extracting the file doesn't fix the problem
to fix the problem I needed to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 - 2022 Redistributable. Both x64 and x86 versions
1. On my Windows 11 system, I needed to install both .NET Framework 4.8.1 and Visual C++ Redistributable 2010 x86. Here are the powershell commands I used:
2. For some wav files, I also needed to get more information by running the xWMAEncode.exe tool in bin directory instead. The message "FAILED to encode 32803646 bytes of 48kPcm16BitMono data to xWMA (bitrate 48000)" indicated the audio bitrate was not supported for the sampling rate. I wasn't able to get this working until I used a third party tool (https://cloudconvert.com/wav-converter) to convert the audio bitrate from 48k to 44k.
I been using this a long while. Just to remind you all, If you convert a wav. over 250 mb to xwm. It will say successful but it's actually a fail. Ends up 0mg. The wav. file has to be around 250mb or below to convert properly.
I suspect (but don't know for a fact) that it's related to Windows 11. Works fine on my old Windows 10 PC, same results as seemingly everyone else using Windows 11 (no output).
Will not work for me. Manually installed. Ran MultiXwm.exe as administrator. Tried both MP3 and WAV. Renamed them to simple 1 letters. Have .Net Framework 4.5. Have Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64) and (x86). Even have Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable Package (x64) and (x86) for all they're worth. MultiXwm says conversion completed. Nothing appears in the output folder.

PS for anyone having problems simular to output file not showing convertd XWM, ("I'm not saying this will work for everyone")
I'm on Windows 11 With net.Framwork 4.5 already installed but my problem was not having Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update
Hopes this helps
