Hey man. I've been playing around with the projectiles for the railway rifle. I'd be grateful if you could tell me where you found the files for the harpoon gun. I can't as of yet locate the .nif for the harpoon projectile. Here's an idea of what i've got so far. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6344/? What's with the new upload? What has changed? It's working fine for me at the moment.
Also, you may wanna look at this mod to see how he managed to let it be modified at the vanilla weapon workbench, and even add mods to it (you could use the railroad rifle mods perhaps?) without altering the mesh: LightSaber Prototype
Melee weapons are much easier to add at present, though, so it may not be possible, but it's worth a shot!
Also, I was able to add a legendary effect to the weapons by using the console (bleeding damage seemed appropriate lol).
The new upload has some added interior files and adds the ammo (which you have to craft and cannot drop). Right now I'm teaching myself so it's taking a while. I'll continue to keep teaching myself and updating this mod

I knew of it but those who I spoke to couldn't get it playable.
Has anyone made a patch to use Far Harbor ammo?

I was hoping this would shoot the harpoons like the one that replaced the railway rifle but this shoots rail spikes
