22 December 2018 Very good mod, does exactly as it says. Hated the sound idiot savant use to make, especially when I'm trying to sneak around. Completely killed the immersion.
It took me a few minutes to realize what the hell was going on??? I thought that I had an Internet Window opening and some 'sound track' / 'commercial' was going on ...
When I realized the I had closed it ... (browser) ... then I finally realized what was going on: What was Bethesda thinking when they did this????? Obviously they were not think about the game players ... maybe they were burning the 'midnight oil' and was a just a 'tad' out of it.
Thanks again.... WELL DONE!
ADDED - I did NOT find a FALLOUT4.ini - but I did find: Fallout4_Default.ini which DID have the requested line to be changed.
You might want to make that noted: Fallout4_Default.ini as some would wonder if there was / is another INI file that is suppose to be there.
I finally just use the REMOVEPERK and got rid of them. This was just seriously annoying in no small way.
I will be checking back periodically to see if you respond, but I kind of get the feeling this thread is dead, based on the observation that the author seems to be M.I.A. from this thread.

I Followed the instructions:
Drop the sound folder in your Fallout 4/Data folder. < Check
.... \Fallout 4\ Data\Sound\fx\ui\perk
Changed: Fallout4_default.ini
From: sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\
To: sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, SOUND\,
... I even tried to remove the space and , at the end to see if that was the problem?
I am still getting the seriously annoying Durr ... any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!
