I like the fact that you can put it on an armor piece, I do have the ring one too but because I also use the Berthas-Bird and like rings instead of the filthy looking hats I can't use the jetpack ring, since I use the co-pilot ring for that mod. So thanks for your mod, helps me a lot with less ring switching and sheet. Wish i could put it on any piece of armor/glasses or such.
Absolutely love it! I didn't like always lugging around my OP power armor just to have the glorious jetpack. As far as animations go, you might could get away with replacing the jumping animation with the power armor jetpack animation. Just a little food for thought
With the current tools there's no way to do that (as far as I know) without replacing it always, like even if you don't have the jetpack. Plus you'd still have no jetpack model, so I'll wait until I can make it all work.
dude i think you can since the model and the animation can be copied from the original(from the power armor jetpack and the animation from the power armor)
Since there's already a legendary modifier for that, I don't plan on adding it. I was considering adding fall damage upgrades for legs, but didn't for the same reason.
I need more information than that if I'm gonna help you. Like does the option not show up in the menu or does it just not activate? What armor piece are you trying it on? Do you have other mods that modify chest armor? (There shouldn't be conflicts but you never know.)
I used it on Combat Armor and it doesn't do anything. I checked it in FO4Edit for conflicts, none. I don't see any object effects listed in the esp either.
It uses the existing jetpack effect, referenced by each Modification (OMOD). Could you try disabling all your other mods and trying it? Worst case, you could upload your save somewhere and I'll take a look. I just downloaded the mod again from here (I just had it in my data folder before from creating it) and it all works fine for me.
Sorry to keep you waiting, I didn't quite realize how long I spent trying to get models working until I saw the modified date on the file and realized I finished this version last Tuesday
Oh ya, forgot to mention that you have to be careful if you don't have legendary acrobat or freefall legs. Fall damage actually isn't that bad in this game, but you do have to be careful if you're jumping between rooftops or something.
