Works with several of the weapon mods I tried. And if you meant to say weapon degradation, no I don't intend to add that feature, I'm just trying to fix any remaining bugs.
This would go great with FROST for that good ole hopeless feeling, but then I remembered you wouldn't even have enough bullets to overheat your gun lol Great mod for those into this type of stuff nonetheless
What would cause a mod added weapon (riot shotgun in this case) to overheat just by looking down its sight? I actually love the glitch, even called the thing Heater, but it can overheat and jam nearly instantly. Which combo of settings might cause that weird effect?
I was just thinking about a mod I wanted to make that was basically this, but mostly just for the minigun. My idea was to make all miniguns have the Bottomless quality, never having to reload, but instead they'd overheat with sustained fire, and when they heat up too much they slow down, misfire, etc. Improved barrel mods would help slow down their overheating.
I wanted something like this mainly because I think the reload animation for the minigun looks really dumb, with the player holding up the minigun with one hand and yanking out an ammo drum the size of a beer keg with the other hand. Unless you have power armor it just doesn't look right.
I like this mod and use it, but just an FYI for anyone who downloads this - It breaks starting a new game. I had just this and HUD framework (required) loaded and I consistently was unable to start a new game. It works fine when installed after you start a game. So just keep that in mind.
Yeah if he's getting the energy weapon exclusive THEN I'll take the hostage special as a 1st course and finish with a la bamba fajita tortilla with chicken AND beef!
