So I started a new play through. Imagine my surprise waking up in the Nuka World Red Rocket. LOL I could not get some items I have placed at the other Red Rocket near Sanctuary. Thankfully I had a bat file to protect me until I got there though.
Works fantastic so far. Thanks a lot for this :) Saves me a LOT of time doing restarts :)
Pardon, my ignorance, but how is this installed? I installed through NMM and then realized this is a completely new save game and wondered if it instead should be manually placed in Documents\My Games\Fallout4.
Ah, you are right, I have disabled the NMM download function. I have put up slightly new version - same savegame just renamed file. You need to download manually, unzip and place the file into your Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Saves directory. Hopefully if I have got this right you should see a character called 'City Builder' or maybe ' City Builder (M)' and the save should be in there. The save should be called 'Vanilla plus Vault 88', in fact the save name is longer but the rest of the name goes out of sight.
Just an FYI to those who may be crashing to desktop when trying to load this: The use of Rebuilt Series Prewar Houses - is conflicting with something. Disabling this mod allows the save to load.
Also, I wish I could endorse this mod (its not letting me for some reason) since I couldn't thank you more for doing all of the work in gaining these settlements!
I selected 'not allowing endorsing' because this is based on a savegame that Eldarth did in which he did the hard work of gaining the settlements, I added in the sim settlement holotape and stuff plus perks necessary to build anything the the workshop can build.
As for 'Rebuilt Series Prewar Houses', well you got me, the only mods installed when I made the savegame were the ones that a simsettlements city designer would have - simsettlements, transfer settlements, place everywhere, settlement menu manager, better console, unofficial fo4 patch and hudframework However, this is not true for the far harbor and nukaworld files, I should redo those without my usual mods, thanks for reminding me! :)
