I feel a bit stupid but ive been walking around for ages and I can't find Buttons. Anyone has a better explanation of his exact location? At least if I know where he should be, it would tell me if I fudged up the install (like if I'm walking for nothing or not)

I have had Buttons for some time now and he is both fun and obnoxious. Not a whiner like Mac though and Buttons does make me laugh....A LOT. Especially when in combat. No idea why but the AI seems to favor him to get himself into and out of trouble A LOT. hahahaha! F**k Buttons! Now what! Blam Blam Blam Blam. Buttons and Corvega......hahahahahaha!
It took some time to become accustomed to his voice....maybe a better mic??....but after some time it was less noticeable and definitely fits his looks.
Edit: Had more great laughs last night. Buttons, "All that and I only peed myself once! ...... Aww shut up, everyone does it." Hahahahaha Not a better mic....that actually is good....too good. The voice is too clean and loud.
I've used this mod before and enjoyed it, but now it's disabling Fallout 4 Script Extender and removing F4SE files.
It's unfortunate that I won't be using Buttons anymore. There are few good mods with characters that aren't scantily clad girls to make the kids giggle.
No issue here. I am using the Fallout 4 GoG version. He seems to be working fine. I also use Liga of My Companions for him following. No issues. I just started a new save with updating Nate and the cool SAS guys and Buttons has no conflicts I could see.
Creator of Buttons is very much alive and active. Though Vortex whatever is a headache, that is on Nexus Mods devs, obviously no fault to creator of this mod. I got the mod working FINALLY but I had to do it manually, because of lousy Vortex bs. So the mod works, I found Buttons where he was suppose to be and he's very useful to have! I adore his witty remarks too :D
I do wished he had more to say? I adore hearing him, he makes me laugh and feel at ease. No bugs or anything problematic on this mod. Everything is working fine. He's made my gameplay enjoyable! Thank you for giving us personal fun experience with Buttons! I can see why Meg is crazy for him
4 years of no activity? The man logs in daily- however- he is rather silent. If you checked his nexus account you would find this- as of this post, he last logged out 2:25 ago (H:M). Send him a dm. A check maybe. All the former participants in the making of this mod are still active- they have just moved their portfolios off of tumblr- and onto instagram, twitter, etc. And, of course found a PROFESSIONAL- IE- ECONOMICALLY INCENTIVIZED calling in their areas of work. The artist made a music video 2 years ago. Don't just spout out the phrase "Nur aktivitur" without doing a background check; if you care, you can ask the author WHY he stopped. As I have aforementioned, his account is still very much active, so he may very well respond. And if you want the mod updated- impassion the author somehow, perhaps you could... COUGH UP the DOUGH. Maybe you could script and commission the actor yourself if you want.
Considering the man is still active and hasn't announced that he's not gonna work on it anymore there is still a chance he wants to finish it eventually. The fallout 4 modding scene is even bigger now then when he first started the mod. If he finished it today it would probably become a really popular mod.

This is truly sad, because when I first found Buttons .. I posted back then, that this could have easily become the FO 4 version of Inigo in Skyrim.
Oh well .. it's still a fun mod .. just sad that the story came to an 'end' - before it really got started.
