Cant really see any difference, the blood splatter seems vanilla. Now when I shoot someone theres no blood splatter on impact, but if I kill an NPC by say decapitation or shoot at a head until it explodes theres still the over-the-top red blood "mist" - same with animals/creatures. Might be me just missing something Im not sure, but this mod was exactly what I was looking for - toning down the blood splash/dust, but unfortunately it isnt working for me.
And that is exactly what the mod is supposed to do - remove blood spray on impact. The description says "unless decapitation occurs" in it. That's also similar to how it would be in real life. If somebody takes a strong enough blow, there will be a lot of blood spray.
I think this works well for the intended purpose and the fact that in this game the "final blow" is what kills the character, so there should be no blood if a character's armor deflected or absorbed the attack - which is why I choose to pretend that someone's hit points refers to their armor before the person's body is hit. So seeeing blood come off of someone with every shot is also weird if the victim is wearing armor. Thanks a lot to author.
Nice seems way more real to me ! Realism is the only way to game other stuff is for zombies or teenagers same thing in reality LOL !!!!! If you die at what time does your heart stop anyway ? If you have holes in your veins pumping out blood how much would spill before heart stops ? Scientists estimate the volume of blood in a human body to be approximately 7 percent of body weight. An average adult body with a weight of 150 to 180 pounds will contain approximately 4.7 to 5.5 liters (1.2 to 1.5 gallons) of blood. So your mod seems right have not tested it yet but rat looks 100 % right !!! Considering if it is a heart or Brian kill tons would stay in the body it only leaves the body do to gravity or your heart pumping!!! If your dead head shoot!!! Does the heart stop or keep pumping? I have no clue ?
I lost about 4 litres of blood once. it was squirting out. The sprays are unrealistic but a very occasional arterial spurt might be acceptable.
If you pour out 4 litres of liquid straight onto the floor, it creates a decent sized pool. but on asphalt or dirt it would look less than say a tiled floor indoors.
The average human body has 4.5-5.5 liters of blood. A class 4 hemorrhage, where you lose over 40% of your blood, is usually guaranteed death. If the average human has between 4.5 and 5.5 (for argument's sake, let's say 5 liters even), then over 2 liters is essentially guaranteed death. I don't know anyone who lost over 80% of their blood and survived. Press X to doubt.
L i v e Leak is great for seeing what happens when one gets shot... In all kinds of places. My favourite was a guy who copped a gut full of buckshot AND glass as he tried closing a glass door on his assailant... Now THAT bled A LOT! But it pooled, it didn't spray everywhere.

The best blood mod for realism. Thank you. I use Enhanced Blood Textures before this in the load order. This combo allows bleeding trails, occasional twitching bodies,darker color, and best of all no fake blood spray. Definitely the best blood mod for me. Thanks again.
