I don't know if you can also make faction uniforms with both army fatigues and military fatigues (which got camo) I think that will be even better looking than synth uniforms
I was doing a minutemen run and was excited to see this but,,,why is it blue? They all look super good, I just don't understand why blue represents the minutemen.
Is there any chance you could add not only ballistic weave support, but also support for lining mods (dense, etc) and add-on mods (ultralight, etc)?
I use armorsmith extended and it does allow all those, but your different faction versions are so good.
I might try playing with putting your mod lower than armorsmith extended so that maybe it will overwrite the original with the same objectid or formid or whatever.
I like these outfits, though I do feel like the minutemen suit is too pale a blue. Could do with a darker blue, maybe to match the shade that Militarised Minutemen use.
so I don't know if this is a bug or not, but I got a custom gen 2 synth follower. When I give him one of these uniforms it appears as the default institute suit on him, but When I equip it it works perfectly fine and the colors change as well. Any ideas on how I could get this to work for my companion?
I'm not sure what the problem is. My suggestion would be to edit the 'ArmorAddon' for each uniform in the creation kit and add 'SynthGen2Race' as an additional race.
The gen 2 synth is from a mod I am working on. Its not a huge bug, the synth can wear the armor but the color will appear white on him. I tried adding the Gen2 synth race but the uniform still is appearing white. Overall the uniforms look great on ghouls, and humans. Still I'm giving the mod an endorsement for your hard work.
Thicketford, have you considered making a version without the faction patches? I've been looking for a nice looking color-coded uniform that is suitable for male settlers, as the one I've currently been working with only has a female mesh. But the faction patches would look odd all mixed-and-matched in my settlements.
Oh never mind, I see how they are set up... should be fairly easy to make versions with a custom logo by editing the dds files and then repacking them! sounds like an excellent excuse to finally learn how to properly edit DDS files.
Thank you for all the effort you put into this mod!
