Hi! Well, I don't think it's a question of which better or worse. It just some people prefer cluttered map with tiny details others comforted with roads and blurred spots. ^__^
Try the 2k colour. If that slows things down then try the 2k monochrome. With a 970 you won't be running FO4 on a 4k monitor anyhow. Also the map will show in the pipboy and be smaller. So you would need an 8k monitor to enjoy the 4k map properly. But get the 4k one for printing it out. They look great.
Been waiting for something like this for quite some time now and I'm really happy to finally see it :D I personally like when the map is in monochrome but when I use this mod w/o the ini settings the map icons become very hard to see. This might be some kind of conflict with Zoom-out for World Map mod I'm using but I was wondering if you are planing to provide a monochrome version of this mod. If not, do you have any ideas how I can get a monochrome Far Harbor map while "bPipboyDisableFX" is set to 1? Thanks!

This map is too cluttered to make it for an use. Am sorry, but the vainilla map is better. Sorry, Hugs.
I recommand with pip-pad, or pip-boy with zoom option !
