While this looks nicer than vanilla, i prefer the crate textures from Langleys HD Textures Workshop ( http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1897/? ) - wood texture looks more realistic there.
Fantastic, and I love that you used all of the proper formats, and PBR layers for the specular maps (and didn't just add noise and contrast to the original texture.)
The wood is on key, however the screws seem to break the illusion a bit.
I'd recommend making them more pronounced, along with the shadow indentation behind each. Make the centers a little brighter to stand them out, a little smaller throughout and then an overlay for a rust look.
However, I did not create only single texture, I created custom Diffuse, Normal, Specularity, Glossiness and Metalness texture, last three are as separate channels inside _s texture

Better Crates Video
The crate itself looks great, but the screws pop out too much. Maybe you could make a version with just big rusty nails?
