If you crash, follow these steps before asking me what's up:
Move my patch to the very end of your Load Order, first off.
If you still crash, here's a list of potential problems starting from highest priority to lowest:
1. You don't have a fully up to date version of the base game, Fallout 4 2. You don't have all the DLC (just the 3 that add armor actually, Far Harbor, Nuka World, and Automatron) 3. You don't have the updated version of AWKCR - do note that the Concealed Armors on the original page comes with a version of AWKCR that is _OUTDATED_ and you need to reinstall the new version from the AWKCR page on top of it 4. Some other mod is interfering with the same records 5. You use Horizon - you may make your own Horizon patch using my patch as a base, full permission granted, all it does is save you time for something you'd have to redo anyway, I don't even think I _could_ restrict you from using my patch 6. You have Armorsmith? If so, use my other patch too, and load it BEFORE this one.
Try those.
If that doesn't work, go through each mod individually paired with my patch starting with the DLCs, the Unofficial Patch, the CC ESLs, AWKCR, (AE, my other patch too if AE,) and then go down your list. Honestly you can bulk enable all your, say, workshop and base mods, then bulk enable all your Power Armour mods, then bulk enable companion mods, then finally enable your weapon and armour mods in groups of like 3 until you crash again, then from those 3 figure out which single one it is. Come to me when you find which one.
I'm happy to help you if you have an issue that's not solved by this pinned message.
This also applies to bugs, if you think it's a bug caused by me then go over these steps before reporting it.
Just so you guys know , this mod didnt add back paints for helmets (metal helmets, and synth , i think maybe combat armors)
I fixed it myself using fo4edit , plus i dont use Armorsmith , so I removed null-references and errors
Remember there are multiple error references and you need to add keywords in two places per helmet/armor that are missing the paint keywords (and they are different entries)
This mod is only for those without DLC anymore, BECAUSE the main AWKCR actually just included Concealed Armours. Update your AWKCR and you don't need Concealed Armors, Concealed Armors Far harbor/Nuka World, OR this patch. JUST AWKCR and that's it.
I've never tested it myself but I would assume not. Anyone is always free to use my patch as a base for editing their own Horizon patch though. And like, upload it separately on their own; I'll link to it from here if anyone wants to make it.
After installing this my game CTD when browsing workbench, however i can see that it worked because the visibility option appears on the armors (if im quick enough) but still.. CTD.

I'm gonna pin this as I actually have told someone else this before hahaha.
Hello! I love the idea of this mod patch. I am trying to add my own addition to this for a piece of mod armor but I can't seem to get it to work. (specifically, the ashland chest armor from the Church Of Atom Overhaul mod). I am able to get the "visibility" menu item at the armor table in game but when I select "concealed," nothing happens. What do I need to set in FO4edit so that this armor knows to sub in the blank nif when I set it on concealed? For reference, here's what my FO4edit looks like on this particular armor in the esp I created (which I named visibilityadditions.esp)

Masters are main fo4.esm, armorkeywords.esm, concealedarmor.esm, armorsmith extended.esp, and cf_atomicwarlord.esp (the church of atom armors mod)
I actually haven't tried making any specific patches myself from scratch yet, but what I would do (and probably eventually will do when I get back into FO4) is open up two separate tabs of FO4Edit, one of which will be closed without saving and won't get edited, and the other of course will be edited. On the one that won't be edited, I'd select a piece of armor that's edited in the Concealed Armors ESP, and see every single thing that is changed from it and its dependencies, and just copy those changes onto the armour that I want to add concealability to in the tab that I'm actually working on.
The reason I'd open two tabs is because I'd probably be editing more than one single piece of armour to patch and I'd hate going back and forth from one edited armour to the armour I want to edit over and over again just to make sure I don't forget anything. Hopefully that makes sense.

I use only concealed armors and not AWKCR. Will this still work or not?
I don't use Horizon, haha, sorry.
