    Hello ThaMan!

Having my own fun modding with Horizon as the foundation, and I do love my X-02 to be included. Saw your patch and really thought I was saved...

Until I saw I also needed "Some Assembly Required" mod. This has me confused to the full requirement of mods needed here, so I finally had to bite the bullet and ask you, kindly, for help. ^^

So what I need help with here is to know if I also need the PAMAP, CPAO, and BPAO mods for "Some Assembly Required" mod. In that case, do I also need specific patches for them, like a PAMAP horizon patch? Or will I just need to get them, get your required mods, and then just your patch?

    Please.... help! xC

The Some Assembly Required mod doesn't need PAMAP, CPAO, or BPAO. You don't even need SAR for the Z_Horizon_PAmods.esp patch. What I want to know is how the legendary patch fits into all of this. Mostly because my power armor crafting menu is a bit bugged.

Is it actually possible to obtain the X-01 helmet with this patch without having to steal from the BOS?

I was unaware mods that change precombines could effect these mods. I have Regrowth overhaul. but when I check it in FO4edit, I cant see much info in the worldspace tab. I actually cant see much of any info anywhere for that green mod, lol, must be mostly done with scripts or something?

But if it would conflict with items placed or removed from cells, I would see that when I open up the cell trees right?

I am using SAR but have edited all power armor stats to more suit myself. Otherwise this would be a great mod for me.

I also made the pieces very heavy while my character has a max carry weight of only 90 (with backpack) so If I come across a piece I will either be forced to drop a lot of stuff or use a salvage beacon.

the PA frame, I have doubled the strength stat so the heavy pieces are fine as long as you are in it.

*Bows* Thank you Sir *Bows Again*
Edit: We should be using the basic SAR mod, not the legendary edition https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17859 ? Will this be updated to legendary later?

Sweet, now I can use the X-01 without giving myself a headache trying to make it work!

Will you by chance extend this to mods like Consistent Power Armor Overhaul and Power Armor Distribution Overhaul? There was a patch for them, but I don't know if it'll work with 1.4 and up.

    Thanks a ton!
I had SAR installed before I started seriously converting to Horizon, it's good to see it make a comeback with this. The idea behind it is similar to what Z aims for, I think.
Edit: Also, first time as first! There's a first to everything, ha!

      You-re welcome mate :)
I agree with you, and I've used SAR in the past too. The thing is, SAR messes with Horizon's PA stats.. If the purpose of the mod was to ONLY change PA's stats, it would be obsolete, but what I've wanted to keep was the mod feature to make you actually search for PA's pieces instead of finding a full set just waiting for you. I even thought of making the mod Scarcity compatible (it's kinda similar on to SAR), but from what I could see in it's description it would be a nightmare to patch, I might give it a go in the future though.
And since PA's are OP enough, I've tried to balance the X-02 and at the same time make it better than X-01. Stay tuned as I'm about to release a new version including the T-51C Airforce PA.
