So appearantly Nexus Mod Manager cannot accept the file for download because it is so small. So I added an image file(Krazyman999's ideas) and I made it a 7z file, so it should now work with NMM.
l like this mod removing water breathing, but i just had a idea instead of removing it straight out why not make it higher level for aquaboy but also make it where you have to wear a full face helmet (like Marine Helmet) or gasmask for it to work. just something to think about
And i want to remove the ability to not get addicted to alcohol in the party girl perk. I'm coming back to FO4 now after a while and i'll take a look into your esp to see if it gives me some insight into what to do... i don't have a clue, already tried looking the perk in fo4edit but to no end.
But this mod is an example of things that are too... not needed, to not say ridiculous. I usually not find myself swiming that much, so i never took the Aquagender perk, but for me this is actually a must have mod to modify the somewhat broken perk system.
I understand your confusion, the Partygirl/Partyboy perk does not have an abPerk listing, so editing this is much more... Annoying. Now, any spell or ability or whatever that has an effect on your character is listed under Magic. However, I've been looking for a while, and I just can't find anything about alcohol immunity for a constant effect. So I am at a loss about what to do here. You'd think they would have made it easy to change the addiction values, but the only effects about addiction is the either the one where you have the addiction, or the one that cures it, which is a "Fire and Forget" effect, which does not help here.
So I am sorry, but I cannot help you there.
BUT, what I can help you with is doing some console magic. What you can do is skip level 1 of the perk via the console. Type in:
"Player.addperk 1d2475"Without the " for Female "player.addperk 1d2473" Without the " for Male
That gives you rank 2 of party girl/boy. Now, if you already have taken rank 1 of the perk, you can remove that by typing.
"player.removeperk 4d888" Without the " for Female "player.removeperk 4d887" Without the " for Male
This is the only workaround I can see currently, as you skip the addiction immunity and go straight to the doubled effects. You can always put in the first point into rank 1, then give yourself rank 2 via the console and then remove rank 1 via the console if you don't want to cheat by giving yourself a free perk.
wow many thanks for this reply!!! And thanks for actually trying to find a solution for this! So that's why i couldn't find about the immunity... it just does not "exist" at all. Maybe it is a script that removes the addiction when you drink? I do not know much about modding.
That's a great suggestion, tho. I wanted to have a drunk girl with extended benefits, but the addiction system is very interesting, so i can run around with a lot of debuffs and feel the pain of living in the wasteland. hah!
Thanks again for your time, i guess this is probably beyond my knowledge to try to "fix" then. Now i just wanted to add a specific track to play in determined weathers, actually the silent hill siren in radstorms lol After i update and intall all the mods i'll put my hands in CK or fo4edit for this :)
Thank you for your mod, Kelleth, I was bothered by Aqua Boy/Aqua Girl/Aqua Child/Aqua Spawn as well! I like the idea of water borne radiation immunity but water breathing I didn't ask for, I find it too powerful and the diving suit and Nuka Girl suit loses a bit of their power with the vanilla perk.
Not seems to working for me. In fact, I'm not taking any radiation damage at all. It would seem that somehow the vanilla perk is persisting despite the presence of this mod.
Can't speak for other peeps, but I get Aquaboy because rads melt you in a minute while in water without it, and I happen to find myself in there constantly, so I "need" the perk, not some ridiculous gills that come with it. Its a trivial immersion thing for those who care about such things.
"Its a trivial immersion thing for those who care about such things." Please don't deign to speak for everyone who likes immersion. It's not the same as realism, and many people want immersive game experiences without needing to remove things which are not realistic, myself included. For me and many others, being "immersed" in Fallout means playing in a world that follows *Fallout* rules and *Fallout* logic, which includes things like this.
Fallout's world has different biological and physical laws than our own. Science! works differently in Fallout than in real life, especially pertaining to genetics, mutation, and radiation. In Fallout, mutations are common, almost always advantageous, and usually easily inheritable. Furthermore, they can and do occur spontaneously in mature adult organism. It's why there are ghouls, radscorpions, mirelurks, and bloatflies all over the place.
NOW, don't get me wrong; I am not A) Complaining about this mod B) Saying this mod should not exist C) Asking why this mod exists D) Saying this mod is NOT immersive E) Saying that you, personally, don't find Aquaboy/Aquagirl to be un-immersive, or otherwise making critical statements about this mod, yourself, or any other topic or subject.
ALL that I am saying is; you don't speak for "immersion" or for all people who care about it, you only speak for your own subjective judgement about what is or isn't immersive. So, please don't claim to represent "immersion" or the people who want it, because you will probably wind up misrepresentation a large number of people. Not everyone who "care[s] about such things," actually needs or wants this mod!
I simply hated the fact that you got 2 perks in 1. And, like the other nice people stated, it is an immersion thing, and this helps me that regard. Again, this was something I made for myself, and uploaded in case others wanted the same.
Okay, see this is more than I get from some people when I ask for clarification. I can see how a person might value the Rads protection over the Water Breathing, and now that I think about it, that's a pretty legit reason.
If the file is too small. You could just pad it out with an image file that does nothing, maybe your logo with this file is just padding, written on it... Maybe adding the address for the mod in the image file...
Image files can be made as big, or as small as you want. So they are easy to tailor to any size... :)
Glad to help... it'll make your mod easier to access, and get you more downloads.
I posted my post at 5am, you can tell by the awful grammar of my post. The middle bit sounds like it was run through a translator...
It should read...

If you are scared of a take down, which I've had with one of my mods, it took one of my mods just 6 hours to get taken down. You could just have a plain white image, with your mods name on it, along with the web address... Or maybe a crappy hand drawn version of it, like the wasteland survival magazines in Fallout 4. It wouldn't matter if it looked like a 3 year old drew it, and took 3 seconds to do. It's padding, and a funny thing to find for people who like to go digging around the files...

Enjoy.
They would override each other right? is there an easy way to merge them?
Besides, there is a Diving Suit in Far Harbour that grants waterbreathing =)

THanks :)

All the best for you
Thanks again!
You keep the radiation immunity from being in water, but lose the ability to breathe underwater.

Although it would be better if you could change the perk description into something different.

I can't believe I didn't think of that... Must be the fact that it was 2am when I was mixing this together.
