Keep in mind, that this is one of my first mods, and I never intended for it to get this big! I just wanted some cooler looking synths, lol. But now this is a living breathing mod, and growing everyday into a Terminator overhaul! Thanks everyone for making it what it is
Known issues...
- Eyes are black...a fomod installer problem...see the note right below this one...
- If you see purple textures, or no textures at all, make sure that you have all of the textures and materials installed, and your ini setup for loading loose files. Sometimes NMM doesn't install them correctly. The materials files in particular, and sometimes a few textures. Try manually installing all of the files and overwrite. See my next post on how to manually install.
- Gen1 is on hold for now, I'm focusing on Gen2. Once I can figure out how to make the Gen1 lighting uniform, I'll release Gen1 variants.
Things to do...
- Get these as standalone enemies - Make a "stronger Synths" option - Get sound replacers - whatever else you all can think of!
SA, I am in LOVE with your textures, but I'm now tormented.... I want to play as any of these skins, in particular a gen2 synth that can perhaps equip clothes. Is this a difficult project? These designs are so amazing it has to be done, I'm too busy envying the synths to kill them. I was thinking a gen2 synth with terminator eyes. I've tried installing the "play as a synth" mod and installing your skins but game crashes at this point even with only the standard gen1 synth mod.
Please save us all from pink pip-boys and Danny Treijo moons!
i got same problem too... Fix: after choosing your option in fomod let it finish deploy then disable it wait process and enable it again no more error! (atleast for me and im using vortex ) Oh just delete the noti after disable and see if u got error again after enable the mod if not then u got it and if otherwise i cant help u sorry or u can just not choose any eye (none) and use the eye from nick valentine reborn page
This with Vulkan landscape textures, Commonwealth of Decay, and the mod that replaces ghouls with synths could make the base of a terminator LO... Because I don't have enough on my plate and need more ideas. XD
hope I''m not too late for this party... I am just about to launch and FIRST i am going to dump these Clean Steel textures into my data directory?? ALSO the red eyes..
but in ALL the vids when they die their eyes KEEP GLOWING red is there a way to make those red eyes turn off when they die? Kinda spooky otherwise :) ~~~ ALSO? does this alter DiMA & Valentine too??
Install the mod as per instructions! Vortex (now) says what isn't found and it's not installed. Right-click on the installed mod, 'Open in File Manager'! Download the main file again from the 'Manual Download' button. Open the zip and find the not installed textures, copy them! Go to the opened folder of the mod (w File Manager), paste those files!.. voalá! Start and enjoy!..

open the all-in-one zip file you downloaded from my mod.
Then choose the style of synth that you want; dark, chrome, steel, etc., with or without human teeth
Open that folder and copy these 2 files,
- Gen2Synth_d.DDS
- Gen2Synth_s.DDS
Paste them into this folder "\Fallout 4\data\textures\actors\synths\"
Then go back to the zip file and choose an eye color (if you want one)
Open that folder and copy these 2 files
- Gen2Eyes_d.DDS
- Gen2Eyes_g.DDS
Paste them into the same folder "\Fallout 4\data\textures\actors\synths\"
Same steps if you want the human like skin.
That's it. Hopefully this helped

Download the main file again from the 'Manual Download' button.
Open the zip and find the not installed textures, copy them!
Go to the opened folder of the mod (w File Manager), paste those files!..
