Is there a mod similar to this one but for vanilla (No horizon)? I wan't this but i don't feel like using Horizon mod for now, i wan't to play with vanilla system, but looking cool with the suit. Also, i'm playing survival and using a melee build so i kinda need a strong suit so i don't get killed that often. Thanks for reading.
Just as a warning, if you want Thaman's Widow shotgun patch you'll need to download 26 different weapons, as the widow's patched in one file with the rest.
I haven't used it but im sure Chrislor's patch is your best bet like MoonShadowFan suggested...it looks like it was updated in 2020 after the 1.8 release.
TheMan's patch for the Widow shotgun is pretty old now and I'm pretty sure it's not 1.8 compatible. Might be better off with Chrislor's 1.8 patch from his Weapon Patches mod?
Im not at my pc at the moment to look at things... but do you have both the male and female version installed? Maybe that is why... I didnt label them male or female so it might seem like they are duplicates when they are actually different armors. I didnt think it would be possible (or necessary) to even use both male and female versions at the same time.
I havent installed black window in a while... but i thought installing the male version overwrites the female version? So i think your supposed to only use male or female version and only the male or female patch.
As a noob, I See you have it to hiding the armor is quick and easy, I don't know how to go about hiding all my bulky combat armor from clipping, help please? :C
Go into the armor workbench and its in one of the upgrade options! Im away from my pc but its says “hide” or something. Its a free upgrade. Thanks for the post maybe i’ll post intructions on how to hide armor parts, sorry i should have posted instructions on how to to do that before but i never even thought of doing that!
Here I was thinking I was going to have to somehow justify the weird overpoweredness of the Black Widow armor because of how badass it looked. And then you come along and fix the problem. :)
One thing I did notice - the armor still weighs 12 units of carry weight, which for Horizon and with the added inclusion of being able to layer armor onto the Black Widow set, is kind of really high. I went in with FO4Edit and edited your patch on my game to lower the armor to about 6.5 units instead of 12, which is still heavier than just about anything else in Horizon, but is more forgiving than 12. Left the hood at 3 because whatever crazy built-in optics would make sense to weigh a little more.
Just something worth being aware of for future updates. Endorsed!
Oh ok! I can change that, thanks for the advice! I sorta put these patches out and await for feedback...but usually no one says anything so i assume everythings ok! I’ll update it tommorow, thanks again for the advice man!

There is a separate patch as well for the male version, make sure you use that too.
