I hope this helps and I hope I didn't make any mistakes.

I know it's only a text file, but the process is really simple once you know what file you need and what to do in Outfitstudio.

I use the non physics version of outfit mods and then add physics like I write in the text file.

This way outfit pieces from different mods work together quite nicely for me.

There are times when I have to make slight adjustments in OutfitStudio to avoid clipping, which is understandable since it's so many pieces from so many different mods.

This is how I did the physics for the files I uploaded on the Nexus.

Somehow this made it into the hot files 11/23.

Thank you for downloading and endorsing .

I am somewhat certain this file will not stay there for long, I am not even sure how this hot files thing works.
Maybe the download to endorsement ratio was good enough.

Anyway, thanks guys and gals .

Long shot, here, but does anyone know why this method might have stopped working for new outfits?  In March 2021, I used this method to add physics to an outfit, worked great, uploaded the mod, no issues.  Before that, I've added physics to several other outfits as well.
Now, if I use this method, the boobs go all cattywompus no matter what I do or what outfit I add physics to.  I even added physics to the default non-physics body and THAT went tits-up (literally).
All the outfits I added physics to before still work.  I tried copying bones from numerous other outfits besides the cbbe physics body with the same results.  I even tried rolling back Bodyslide and Outfit Studio to the version I had in March, 5.3.0, and rolling back ZeX to 4.0 instead of 5, but still have the same issue.

It was Outfit Studio 5+ that broke it.  I reverted to 4.7.4 and was able to add physics to outfits again.

Damn - this was breakthrough for me :)
Major point - copy "selected bones weights", this method just solved some of the problems I could not explain/solve otherwise.
    Thanks for time and effort!.

    Hey, greetings,

I hope you're okay. Could you make a physics file with that mod? https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/45623?tab=images (Just Vault Jumpsuit)

For some strange reason, it seems that it does not always apply to do the same thing for everything. I've been following the steps of the tutorial and some videos on youtube and the breasts keep changing size for no apparent reason since I'm not modifying dimensions.

It's always better to make a video explaining how to make these kinds of changes. There are many, but most do not explain well or modify in a more advanced way.

Hey, so i really appreciate the effort you've put into making this guide and everything. Unfortunately for me I cant get this working not matter what i do. I'm pretty confident i've followed the steps correctly. However after several hours and trying every method i've found in all kinds of tutorials all my results are the same. A weird quick jitter back and forth instead of anything resembling any kind of normal movement. I would really appreciate any help that anyone would be willing to provide.

The very bare bones basic idea is to load your outfit into Outfitstudio,
import the physics nif and copy the cloth weights over to your outfit and then delete the imported physics nif.
All different tutorials will want to have that same end result.

I just tried this with a newer mod called "Breast Jiggle Physics" and if works fine.

As to why you don't see proper movement, I did use an older version of CBBE and Bodyslide/Outfitstudio, but I don't see
any reason why copying cloth weights should have changed.

What you can so after you saved your project, open it back up in Outfitstudio, choose the CBBE mesh and go to the bones tab.
Scroll down and choose one of the cloth weights.
You should see the weight's coloration displayed on the body.
If the weights show on the body it looks like you have done everything right.

So far this has worked perfectly with all outfits but the vault suits, after I do this process with any vault suit sliders will only affect the gold line in the suit. How do I fix this?

I'm afraid I do not know, it works fine in my game, there shouldn't be any reason why the vault suits should
      act that way for you.
After all you are just taking two cloth weights and copying them over to the outfit.

You can try to conform the sliders again in OS, but it should absolutely not be necessary.

Failed on my 1st try following the instructions but that was cause I didn't start by loading the original .osp for the outfit I wanted to modify 1st in "step 1". Success on 2nd try even liked how it became "in conflict" with the original when bash building them in the same list, so great guide

I have followed these instructions to a tee but one issue still persists so when adding physics for the breasts and butt it says something along the lines of missing weighting. I am just using the vanilla vault 111 suit. please help thanks! hope someone will respond.

If you're asking how to open the download, use 7-Zip...install the version that matches your OS.

If you're asking how to open the doc itself, any text editor should work...I use Notepad ++, but Windows' basic text editor will work as well.

Yeah, I would have loved to just upload the text file, but Nexus required me to zip it up.

Thanks EvilOssie, 7zip is awesome, I've been using it for ages now.

This is probably an obvious question but the CBBE physics file doesn't work without CBBE body right? I'm trying to convert some CBBE outfits to vanilla so I'm hoping to find some kind of alternate solution for this haha.

      Interesting question.

I don't know, but you could always try and take the two bone weights and copy them onto a vanilla outfit, see what happens.
It might actually work, vanilla outfits have cloth physics for skirts and long coats, so it is not that far fetched to try
and apply the breast cloth physics to a vanilla outfit.

I am curious to see what happened when you tried it.

Nice and for many it should be an welcome so we don't see so many comment's from mods user about doing physics.
But 1 thing you should know, the more vertices there are in a dress/suit or armor it's importent too tune it, meaning the search area.
F.eks Hnn66 Sirius 16 I had too go up too 45, otherwise you will still have clippings when the vertic's are high.

Thanks for the tip about the search area .

I wish there were more tutorials for OutfitStudio, it's not easy trying to figure everything out yourself.
Or you get a bit of information here and a bit there, sometimes you can ask someone and maybe they'll help.

Would be nice to have like a manual, ah well.

Hey, see my post here about the results of following your tutorial :) Also, could you elaborate on the vertex search area? I would like to be able to tune it for better results, say, with certain Zap sliders.

The vertex search area is the window that pops up when you copy the selected two bone googles from the physics nif to the rest of the outfit.

Play around with different values, see what the results are, I usually leave them the way they are.

Ah, I see. Thank you. It is good to know. Not to rush you or anything though, you promised to comment on AB Knee Height Slider. So, I thought I would post a gentle reminder, whenever you have the time and feel like it.
