Whether or not the values are used, this is a good mod in my opinion. From a psychological perspective, at least... I don't *like* seeing zero everywhere! Now I have some peace of mind.
This might be an easy test, actually. Spawn a guard dog using this mod with AI disabled. Check VATS, shoot a bunch of times, and see how much variance there is in the shots required. Not gonna do it myself, but someone else with time on their hands might want to.
i don't think they will even work, dog or companions don't use armor values even if they are present on the armor you give them. there imortal anyways so don't see the use, other then keep em longer in the fight. but then again the devs made dog-armor and gave it no armor value for a reason cos the game don't use that. anyways i'm not 100% sure ... not even gonna find that out either i'm solo player, companions are stupid and run over traps, be in your way and well useless other the to keep your stuff.
