Just a few changes, nothing earth-shattering, but the primary focus of this update was gussying up the textures a bit. Mainly, I darkened the diffuse textures for the brass bits and modified the specular maps almost across the board to have more contrast so the Henry looks a bit grubbier now. I also changed the cubemap used by the silver material. That aside, here's the changelog overall:
> Fixed the suppressor not using an appropriate projectile override
> Adjusted the textures of the rifle (as mentioned above)
> Hopefully fixed accuracy issues with scopes.
> Tweaked the level-listing slightly
> Adjusted some material files. Silver material swap uses a different cubemap now, others have had their envmap scale reduced a little.
10/25/2020 Ver. 1.22
>Fixed the unique version's receiver showing up attached to Legendary variants of the Henry.
1/25/2024 Ver. 1.23
> Fixed the Lincoln Repeater showing up as a plain ol' Henry. Should also fix it not appearing at all, if you ran into that issue.
> Also fixed the Lincoln floating inside the display case.
> Made a couple tweaks under the hood to the Lincoln as well. It now spawns with the Long barrel, giving it 15 shots instead of 10 (putting it in line with its Fallout 3 appearance). It now also boasts a hidden ability that boosts its damage against certain enemies.
> Split the ammo found in the Lincoln's case into two boxes of 50 rounds instead of 1 box of 100. Nothing earth shattering since you still get the same amount overall, but I liked how it looked compared to a single box.
You may just have to drop the 1.23 file into Vortex's staging folder for the mod and let the 1.23 plugin overwrite the existing one. Might also be able to manually install the file through Vortex itself somehow. I'm not very familiar with how Vortex ticks so I'm mostly going by what advice I've seen from others.
This mod might be old but it's beautiful nonetheless. Can confirm that BRC for FH Lever Action Rifle does work, which makes it a bit more fun to use. Unfortunately Lincoln's Repeater didn't spawn, the display case was empty.
Hm, that's odd. I checked the case on a new character and Lincoln's Repeater was there as it should be...though for some reason it was a normal repeater instead of the properly fancy one. I'll have to look deeper into this and see if I can fix it.
EDIT: Just uploaded 1.23, which fixes the Lincoln showing up as a bog standard Henry, and should hopefully fix it not appearing outright. Also made a few little tweaks while I was at it.
im much higher than lvl 25 but the mod isnt working at all for me vendors and legendary enemies are not even armed with it and are armed with other weapons(vanilla and what not).
If you've just installed the mod, the level-listing doesn't take effect right away, it can take up to 72 in-game hours for enemies and vendors to have their inventories cycle in new stuff, so you wanna visit a vendor you've never gone to before or go to a location you haven't been to before. It's possible, though, that the mod's not active. If you use the command help henry 4 weap, that'll tell you whether the mod's active or not. If it is, you should get the Henry's ID number, but if it's not active, you'll get nothing, at which point you'll wanna check your mod manager, whichever one you use, to ensure the mod's enabled and deployed (if using Vortex).
The mod is phenomenal. My only complaint and I hesitate to call it a complaint is I can't get the rifle right out of the gate when I start a new play-through. Keep up the good work.
I've had this beautifully made rifle in my mod list way back and it's by far one the best mods ever. I did notice that the suppressed sound got overwritten by "FO4R - Gun Sound Overhaul" but everything else seems to be like in the past when I used this mod.
this is a really good mod. But if you were to reupload this mod with slightly upscaled textures and the animation used in the Fallout 4 Point Lookout mod's Lever Action Rifle, this mod would definitely be on Hot Mods and it would be pretty well received.
I'd rather not completely reupload it just for the possibility that it might become more popular than the original upload (which I think did make it onto Hot Mods when it was first released), especially if all it entails is some minor cosmetic adjustments and the addition of custom animations, both of which could be just done as an update, and I had already redone the textures before (though didn't upscale them. They're all in 2k which I prefer to use rather than 4k, since I've always felt like 4k was a bit much for general gameplay).
It's because I had to scale the rifle up so it'd fit in the hand without having some big gap between the gun and the hand, which I know people would have complained about as well. If and when custom animations happen, I intend to shrink the gun down to its IRL size to amend this.
Mostly it changes the stats of the rifle, but it's supposed to be relegated to a single unique version of the rifle. You'll want to install the 1.22 update to keep that from happening again.
Can confirm that the mod Bullet Counted Reload System (BCR) lever action fix does fix the reload bug for this gun, at least to a degree. If you need to reload up to or less than five, it will only reload that amount. The issue with the reload stopping after 5 still persists.

Vortex thinks that it's a whole new release, and won't let me run both the full 1.2 and the 1.23 patch.
Currently googling for an answer.
Brain-fart time, clearly.

Kudos and Endorsed!
