I really like the idea of this mod, having the one and only Oxhorn as a companion and with Oxhorn's actual voice audio, plus the whole quest thing with him, but I do have an issue with a couple of things... Sometimes along his quest route there is enemy attack, that if you stop to fight, Oxhorn will stay there after the battle instead of continuing on unless I fast travel somewhere. Other times a big attack happens, he just keeps running through, past the fight. And if I do stop along the way to loot boxes or bodies, etc, he often just keeps running along his quest route and he runs a fairly good speed, so he can get a little too far ahead while I am doing things. Would like those fixed, but am happy with how the companion looks like Oxhorn and has that questline which involves audio cuts from his Fallout videos to go with the points of interest, etc.

Sooo... I have heard about this Mod. Oxhorn mentioned it. When i read through the Comments though i actually feel like this isnt something for me. Having to follow him isnt what i really want. I expected to give me a bit of lore when discovering a location by myself. Oh well. Still cool Mod !!
Sorry for the inconvenient, it was my first attempt to create a mod using quests. I've noticed that some people expected that Oxhorn would be like a companion that explains the lore from the places you visit as you visit them, but this was the only way I knew to do the mod, I would do it differently if I do it now, but now is already done and it is as is.
The best way to play this mod is playing a new game just to follow Oxhorn, and see what he has to say, because most of the quests are related to the main quest line, Oxhorn Poe ends at Warren Theater.
PS: You said that Oxhorn mentioned it? in what video? I would like to watch it. :)
Have you tried The Wasteland Codex - Interactive Lore Database? It isn't Oxhorn but it is the Storyteller from Shoddycast and it does basically what you say you were expecting. I enjoy it quite a bit and it they have kept up with updating it.
My issue with the mod is that Oxhorn keeps running, and doesn't stop. There's no end goal in sight. As other have mentioned, he will lead you into locations you might otherwise be waiting to explore.
It would be cool if he's like "hey, want to explore a location?", then directs you to take him and player there, then explains the lore. I have yet to hear him explain anything, he just keeps running.
The quests are chained, so you must follow him, if you don't want to explore yet a certain place, then talk to him, ask for help, then you will be able to command him, just tell him to wait, when you are ready continue, go to the place where he is waiting and ask for help again, and command him to continue. But, if you want play the "full" version of this mod, you should start a new game and follow him from the beginning, there are things that can not be done because are related to other quests in the game, so if your play through is already at the end of the game he will probably take you to 3 or 4 places only.
So I had a lot of trouble trying to get him out of the town. Tried it on 3 different characters. 2 of them, he just stood there and the other he did try to run for the bridge but decided that the best route was through a house...with walls. I was able to use console commands to move him to me past the bridge and then he ran and one time when I ran near red rocket he teleported in and just started running. Not sure if it was the mod or maybe just my game. Just thought I should mention the problem I ran into. Fun mod though. :-)
Sweet, I can make him join and love the Institute. Also I can shoot him when he preaches too much about the Minutemen. Or maybe just smoke all these cigars we keep finding all over the commonwealth.
