Changes: In survival mode, in addition to normal disease effects, Raw Meats now make you feel sick (-1 STR), unless you have Cannibal perk. (Lukowsky's) Potted Meat now causes stomach pain (-1 END) and offensive flatulence (-3 CHA). Removes Rads from Vegetable Soup. Removes Rads from Funnel Cakes and Cotton Candy. Various small fixes. (And adds a couple of missing [Liquor] tags in VIS version.)
I TOTALLY STOLE the raw meat sickness idea from another mod a long time ago, and I've been using it in my own game ever since. I would give credit or ask permission or something if I could remember where I got it. (It's not original work or assets, it just adds some effects to some food items.)
I TRIED BUT FAILED to fix a reported problem in the VIS version. Apparently the foods are being categorized wrong? I suspect it's actually a DEF_UI problem. Maybe someone else knows the answer?
Wonderful mod, works as advertised and finally adds a use for all that Pre-War food.
EDIT: After a bit of playing with the mod I came to the conclusion that cooked food should not cause Rads, I can understand raw Food, but cooked Food should be safe in my opinion.
The mod author relies on the fact that heat does not remove radiation. That is realistic. But I get it, putting in efforts to cook food, and you still get rads, can be disappointing. Following up on realism, may be, RadAway should be an ingredient in cooking to make radiation-free cooked food. In my gameplay, I just assume that some sort of RadAway spice is used while cooking, so I removed radiation damage from this mod for personal use. He he.
Love the immersion provided by this mod. I want to add an Effect to all ingestibles for personal use. I've added it to one record, how can I copy that change to all other records? Something like copy this effect, select other records and paste into them behavior. Any advice?
Thanks to xEdit Discord server, I got answer to the question about adding an effect. In xEdit, find the ingestible with most effects. Add new effect to it. Select all ingestibles, and "Compare selected". Select the new effect and "Copy to selected records".
Thank you for the detail in this. The focus on realism like thirst or charisma from better breath is a bonus. Often authors don't disclose these details which can cause issues. I like everything about this.
Been searching this mods on high and low ground of nexusmods. Many other mods dont really change food effect only recipe. I'm good being unable to make chocolate cake in apocalyptic world. Sadly though... This version didnt include nuka cola. Nuka cola will always heal. :/. But found my solution. JUNK FOOD! another great mods from this modder. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/43320

Are you SURE that the file is an ESP flagged as an ESL ?
Really, really positive?
I'm more sure now, thanks.
If someone wants to make one, I'll be happy to link to it or post it here.
Just a few ~meaningless things, but I'll fix them in 1.3 (some day).
