There is a problem with the helmet. The orange diamond on a helmet is not just a unit indicator, it is a Ranger unit indicator. We used different emblems on Helmets for different reasons. An R on the side was for a Recon unit, an Orange Diamond was for a Ranger unit. And even then only 2nd and 5th Ranger Bats used it. So 1st Inf. wouldn't use it. The white bar also means something though it was used by other units, and most of the western allies adopted it for the D-Day landings. But a Vertical white stripe is for a Commissioned Officer (2nd Lt and Up) while horizontal was used for non commissioned officers (NCO's, Cpl and up, and NO you don't go from SGM to Lt, a LT is LITERALLY the private of the officers, that would actually be a DEmotion not a promotion.) Though I have also read that it distinguished between field officers and staff officers.
correction, During world war 2 there were hundreds of Battle field commissions of first sergeants and sergeant majors to Lieutenants. There is a certain system for when that happens, as prior enlisted personnel often have higher linear numbers than fresh Lieutenants. Therefore don't suggest that those men were demoted as that is not at all the case. An O-1 is still higher than an E-9, don't make that mistake, the only difference is experience and the oath they swear into. oh and of course the pay.
Hey first off awesome mod, I love it. Second what is that leather vest/jacket thing that is under your combat armor? I like the way that looks and was wondering if it was another mod
