City kid, aye? When you live out in the countryside, you can literally see Billions of Stars at once, so many that they start looking like dust was sprinkled around up there.
Actually, there are only about 6,000 stars visible to the naked eye as distinct objects if you have excellent eyesight. Those with average eyesight can only make out around 5,000. They are out there....around a septillion of them in the wide universe, but our eyes aren't accurate enough to make them out. Even in our galaxy most of the stars look merely like a "haze" to the naked eye.
Hm, ya, maybe you a livin in a city so, ok, you are used to be seeing lesser stars but the vanilla nightsky with this much stars is good because you see that much stars in a night sky with no cities around. i would prefer a rela photo of the nightsky with the milkyway. i have seen that one time in real life, that much stars and the magelanic clouds around the milkyway, in the wilderness in afrika and this is... you must see this one time
I noticed that, for the 4K version at least, it's just a loose texture file; there's no file structure. (I didn't check out the 2K version.) It should be FewerStarsNightSky > textures > sky > skystars.dds.
