So the item shows up sorta. The load order ID for me is F6 but the console reports it back F5. Then, the item is just the generic blue faction field outfit. That's it.
    Something I did wrong?

Have the latest version. Mine doesn't show up either, and I get the generic blue faction field outfit as well.

I'm also having this same issue. Can't find the suit in Vault 111 either.

Commissioned by the U.S. government in 2054 as part of “Project: Safehouse,” also known as the "Societal Preservation Program," the Vault-Tec Corporation constructed 122 vaults across the country.[2] However, at the onset of the Great War in 2077, the vaults sealed without many of their intended inhabitants, a result of the “cry wolf effect"[3] that previous training drills had on the populace.

The first vault was constructed beneath Los Angeles, and was intended to demonstrate the viability of such a facility. Unlike subsequent installations, this demonstration vault was not part of the ulterior experiment behind Project: Safehouse. By 2063, most of the vaults had finished construction, with the exceptions of Vault 13, Vault 114, Vault 118 and Vault 88. Vault 112 is the last known vault to be completed, construction having concluded in June of 2074.

Only 112 Vaults had been completed by the time the bombs dropped. This is a fact often overlooked by modders (and NVidia). :p But great back-story.

Be that as it may, one also must consider the ramifications of Vault 88 and it's beacon. Unfinished Vaults put up distress signals, such as Vault 88's, and those sane enough to aid, do. Therefore, it's possible that any number of Vaults could exist, seeing there are, in fact, industrious ghouls. Likewise, this explains how societies like the Shi in San Francisco and the gangs of New Reno have such functional and well-established societies.

Another theory, my personal favorite, is that the Enclave made some vaults. As provided by the presence of a G.E.C.K. on board the Enclave Oil Rig, the Enclave knew full well about Vaults. And, as eluded to in Fallout 3, the Enclave DOES have a CIVILIAN population, one too large to be entirely stationed on the Oil Rig. Therefore, knowing the Enclave's advanced technology and proclivity for inhumane experimentation, further Vaults could've been constructed after the bombs fell.

Or, potentially, things that are "canon" but also forgotten by 99% of the fanbase are, by common assumption, irrelevant.

And, Fallout Shelter is technically a licensed Fallout game, which means there are Vaults numbering up to 999 depending on your interpretation.

I'm impressed at your knowledge of Fallout canon, but as a modder I must demonstrate plot flexibility and utilize suspension of disbelief to enrich the masses with my creative boons, no matter the cost. I hope you will understand and enjoy the mod nonetheless!

Also, I changed the backstory. Now it's lore-friendly. I hope that you will be able to fully enjoy the mod now that it is plausible.

Those vault counted are experiment vaults if I recall, does'nt say that there are not other vaults for vault-tech personal only.

      1) @Squidfest: I loved your first reply. Well played. I understand - really, I was just giving you shit. I am not *actually* a canon nazi (for example, I fully support the notion of female super mutants because I feel like the reason for them being gender neutral had absolutely nothing to do with actual story).

As for the Enclave, they were actually the shadow government of the United States, and were the ones behind the social experiments being run by Vault-Tec (see #3 in a minute). Erego, they raided the vaults as they pleased following the Great War for "pure" humans and/or to run experiments on to "rebuild" the US Govt. in their image.

But, as a mod author, I agree: flexibility is key.

      2) As for the addendum, I'd have enjoyed it in an undiminished capacity either way. :p

      3) @WardenAl: Actually, of those 112 Vaults, there were 17 "Control" Vaults that did not have any social experiments assigned to them. As for Vault-Tec personnel, the "Secret Vault" located in The Boneyard (LA) was an unnumbered Vault designed exclusively for Vault-Tec executives because they did not want to be the subjects of the social experiments going on in most of the other Vaults.

      4) All of that aside? Great mod. Keep it up! ^_^

I didn't place it in a cell in the world, yet. In 1.2, it will be in Vault 111. Thanks for reminding me!

I love this armor and the concept behind the lore! I would like to say this outfit feels like a natural fit for the world of fallout more for the fact that you would think Vault-Tec would have left some vaults with the capabilities to scout the surface after the end. I will definitely download this once you add it to the world.

Thank you very much! And, as of 1.1, it should be located in Vault 111, beside the Overseer's terminal, in the same room as the three stimpaks.

Hi, this looks interesting, thank you for the idea. Is this a standalone mod or do I need the original Faction Outfits to run it, please?

The Backpack looks like "Survivalist Go-Bags", the helmet is "Altyn Assault Helmet", and the mask is "Metro Gas Masks".

Generic is correct, that is exactly what I'm using. And it requires Faction Outfits, probably. I haven't tested it without it.

I can console in, but for some reason the patches are not showing up. I am just doing a "help outfit 4 " and selecting the Vault Tech Field Outfit. Pretty sure I didn't get any of the optional ESP's from the Faction Outfit mod. Just looking for some suggestions. Thanks again! Good Stuff!

Thank you. You see, the description says it is a separate armor.

Perhaps adding a prerequisite warning might be helpful.

As of version 1.1, the armor should be on the evacuation tunnel computer desk in Vault 111.
